…and now you’re sitting here bashing BevR. This just goes to show how bitter some people are that our guild left, we must be missed.
And at first, they were not treated well, hence the reason they made a new guild. People who had a BevR tag weren’t shown much decency. They were claimed a traitor even though they stayed for simply being part of a guild that split servers.
So far, i’ve decent with you…I’m just a member of the guild, and in no way speak for the leaders….don’t turn me into a d**k. Put your shoes on, and get back to your DH threads, we’ve got no use for you in here.
The reason I left is I was tired of getting stomped in the game mode I played the most. I was tired of running into EB and wondering where a commander was, and there rarely being one. I was tired and bored of the same ol’ “zerg it” and nothing else, and even then, barely being able to hold our own. There was nothing new DH had to offer, there was nothing exciting and nothing making me want to play anymore. I spent more time on the TP than actually playing the game, because nothing else drove me to play.
DR isn’t reliant on a couple of small guilds. There are many guilds here, all with a purpose, and all that recognize each other for what they bring to the table. We are not “just a number” here, everyone recognizes everyone, whether a guild of 5 or a guild of 50. Guilds here work together, organize, communicate, and it feels great.
Might I add, that BevR was never bought out. We didn’t accept anything, we didn’t negotiate anything and we did not ask for anything. It was decided it was a better place to flourish, where a skill set is more worth while. I’m glad DH received some people back to compensate for the loss that did happen.
The fact remains though, BevR is happy on DR, happy to be part of a silver server that are rising, and are happy to be a part of the growing numbers. Although 1 or 2 people coming in here isn’t an indication of a whole server, we were simply updating our recruiting and still seems like our departure is a very sour topic.
I’m not attacking DR, i’m stating the reasons why I personally left. From what I hear, DH seems to have a serious bitterness for BevR after we left, so it goes both ways. DH took it upon themselves to speak out on BevR as a server, and temporarily alienate the remaining members that stayed on your server. If our thread was left at peace, there wouldn’t have been a reason for me to respon.
No, you will not be seeing DR. This a server that people are HAPPY to be on. People that come here, enjoy it, and love to see it expanding. DH on the other hand is going to drop in bronze tier. BevR didn’t drain the server of its players, a lot of BevR’s did stay and the rest of DH started attacking them even though they were being “loyal”. Good to see you guys appreciate the ones who did stay. Not only that, but word is there was a vast amount of bitterness for a while after BevR did leave, no longer focusing on your building as a server, but how many “traitors” left for DR. My loyalty lies with the people I like to play with, not the server that we happen to be under, especially when that server is turning into a poisonous cesspool.
Difference between DH and DR is community. DH got a new guild recently, they didn’t stay long. DR has gotten new guilds recently, they’ve jumped up and are looking like strong contenders in Silver Tier. There is evidently a huge difference there, it speaks for itself.
Denial isn’t going to help the server at all.

Let’s talk logically here.
Darkhaven is a server full of “Expect everything, give nothing”. It is a server dependent on a small handful of guilds, giving them the full pressure and load to carry a server. Whenever there is an attack or a zerg coming against you, if you do not have one of the few guilds that had a presence, you lost your tower or you wiped. Having this constant pressure and stress causes the game to no longer be fun, it turns into a chore. Not only this, but after time, it’s expected for these guilds to perform this way…and no one then appreciates the efforts put forth by the guild, that’s just their job, they have to do it.
Darkhaven has 0 structure. Think about it, no guild leaders in consistent communication, half the time we are STRUGGLING for a commander to tag up….even though there are 5 of them sitting at spawn that could do it. No one goes on TeamSpeak, there is no organization on any map, and there is practically 0 defence in place if an attack comes.
After a period of time, this becomes boring, and it no longer feels like a game, and instead a chore that you’re not getting paid for. This is why people have decided to transfer, and found that another server makes this game fun again. Devona’s Rest has an actual sense of community here, the Team Speak is loaded, guilds and maps are organized, and it’s not a constant pressure that if you’re not there, the server will fall. The game is fun again. Darkhaven is spiralling downward and has become toxic as a community, there’s no pro for “loyalty” in this situation.

If you’re looking for a sense and stability, and wanting to expand in WvW, I could suggest a place like Darkhaven. It is a bronze tier server, but I believe we are currently 2nd there, and improving our numbers and pushing against servers we’ve previously had trouble with, and beating them. The WvW community is strong, and tight knit. Everyone is helpful, strong and consistent commanders, and usually have a good presence without any queues outside of Reset night and some Prime Time nights.
