XX:00 Tendril, Race, Moa
XX:05 Serene, Froggy, South Mine, Queen
XX:10 North Mine, basket
XX:15 Tendril, Race, Moa
XX:20 Serene, Froggy, South Mine, Queen
XX:25 North Mine, basket
XX:30 Tendril, Race, Moa
XX:35 Serene, Froggy, South Mine, Queen
XX:40 SANDSTORM – Mine blockade, Defeat the dust mites, Skritt Burglar, Escort Haze
XX:45 Devourer Queen (If T2 was reached)
XX:50 Small Dust Thingy (If T3 was reached), Escort Haze
XX:55 Big Dust Thingy (If T4 was reached)

Replace XX with whatever hour it is – note some events take a few seconds to spawn.
North mine is the rescue zephyrites event, which usually needs about 10-15 people
South mine is the golem
Race usually needs 10-15 people

Skritt Burglar is like the other skritt burglars in the world, in that she spawns in a chest and you chase her from there.

Race, North Mine, Tendril and Basket all have a chance at bonus favor, though I’m willing to say you don’t need any bonus to reach tier 4, as the map I’m on has been hitting T4 part way through the XX:30 spawns.

Past T4, all pre-sandstorm events give 5 geodes. All sandstorm events give 10 geodes, which means a single sandstorm is worth up to 80 geodes. North Mine blockade and the dust thingy swarm both die pretty fast though, so it’s very likely you don’t get both. North Mine is easy to tag and leave; dust thingy drops a LOT of sand, especially if you zerg scale the event.

NOTE: If you do not kill the big dust thingy before the sandstorm dies down, you get reduced geode rewards.

Happy farming!
(I would like to thank Bald the Warrior, Fenrir Cinderspire, and Bregnok Damodred and whoever the other commander was, as well as all us little underlings that went 4 hours of T4)

I broke WvW - A mysterious server bug.

First of all, I’m not sure if this belongs here, under account, or bugs.

Matchup : CD/IoJ/Ebay. I belong to CD.
Ebay was hard zerging our keep on ebg while I was on my necro, so I tried to switch to my mesmer. In LA, I first got the “servers are down while matchups are rearranged” thingy (like reset night’s message). The 2nd try, I got in. This is where it gets strange:

We (CD) are red. I was put into the blue zone (IoJ).
I have access to IoJ’s waypoints and portals, in ebg as well as their bl.
I have access to IoJ’s map/team/say chat, and their commander pins.
I do not have access to CD’s waypoints, nor can I portal CD members.
IoJ members are all labeled “Crystal Desert Rank XXX” and friendly. I can see the name of CD players as they are, but hostile.

But it gets stranger: Ebay has been replaced by Sanctum of Rall. Players are labled “Sanctum of Rall Rank XXX”. However, mesmer clones are Ebay XXX. I have not yet encountered a ranger pet, but assume is the same.

Asking a few randoms I met, IoJ members see my Scout ranked mesmer as “IoJ Scout”. Ebay members see me also as “IoJ Scout”. Crystal Desert members see me by my name, though hostile.

To say the least, I’m confused.
Upon switching maps, the game recognized me as Crystal Desert again, and placed me where I should be.
Anyone know what happened?

Glyph of Renewal..can't express rage in type

I havn’t really found a use for it in pve at all; wvw though…it’s a great lifesaver.

If your going to suicide onto enemy siege? GoR on fire. The self-rez gives you about 4 seconds of invulnerability after – enough for most of meteor shower to channel or run back toward the door.

Water is borked. …
Although it might bring someone up if they had a poison on them – what GoR actually does is cast a really really big heal on someone.

Air – rez someone from range. If your friend is running your way with a zerg on him, start casting and run – instant +1200 distance for him. Can also be used to walls, though it just brings the person to the base of the wall.

Earth – 3 downed people…nothing too flashy. 4 magnetic aura’s though could be very powerful indeed.

Unlike most other glyphs, it’s been mentioned somewhere that GoR’s effect comes from what attunement you started the cast from, not where you end. Also, the cast time underwater is a mere .5 seconds iirc – though there aren’t any finishers underwater, so why its so fast is beyond me. Perhaps underwater/land times were switched.

When it could rez dead people…I rarely had it off my bar when zerging. Now? It is a pretty bad skill, mostly because of its cast time. Glyph of storms, a cantrip, an arcane…there’s just so much more that can actually be decently used in a fight.
Making it an elite and changing water to be able to rez a dead person would actually make me pretty happy. As it is, the cd on renewal even with quick glyphs just doesn’t make it worth using.

Personally as town, I prefer bones.
3 bones leaves a ghost without enough health to even register any red, but more importantly they stun – so if you are like me and so to Prince Ewan and build a pile of 10+ bones before ghosts come…its an easy 2-3 kills at least. I advise having a hammer handy to finish them though, as wasting a bone for the last hit isn’t very productive. If you can’t hit with hammer, throw a torch first for the burning effect.

As ghosts, by far the best gap closer is scarecrow bombing – not only is it a fear, it has a large radius and you can port directly to it. 4->4->1->2 will probably kill a villager. If not you can finish with more 1’ing or 3’ing.

Mad king says emotes – they make villagers drop whatever their holding. Always emote if they have a torch or bone, those things can stop you. I don’t know if its me or a bug or what not, but even the correct emote causes villagers to get rooted. Very useful also as a delayed gap closer.

Villagers – do NOT get hit by eviscerate (ghost 2). It does a ridiculous amount of damage, learn its animation and dodge roll it. (Yes, dodging is enabled).

Pick up all items, even junk – otherwise new items won’t spawn. You can always throw it away or drop it.

And finally..strength in numbers! unless your a ghost, in which case you should be more than able to solo a villager, you want to spread out to find all those pesky hiders.

This is a very good game, I’m kind of addicted to it :P
