Considering that you can already switch between weapons on the fly out of combat and change your utility skills as you go as well – I don’t see why changing trait “Presets” would hinder that play style. Instead of having to talk to an npc every time to access trait presets, how about purchasing the trait preset from that npc for a one time price? In my opinion it would create a more enjoyable and convenient play style.

I agree, it might be abused in such situations. It can still be convenient if you swap to a different preset trait before queuing for WvW.

I find myself often in the need to change my traits to better fit a certain play style. I play in a completely different style in pve questing, dungeons, and WvW. I would find it more convenient if I had different presets to switch between. This would save me from having to reset my traits and reallocate them every single time I want to do a dungeon or do some WvW.
