Stuck on loading screen, unable to log in.

Yesterday after finishing an Arah run I found myself stuck on an infinite loading screen in Cursed Shore. My friends could see my character in the world, but I couldn’t move or do anything as all I could see was a loading screen. I tried logging onto several characters and they had the same issues in Cursed Shore and Gendarran fields.

I’ve tried running the repair function, and sometimes it lets me in, but now I suffer from horrible lag issues, and as soon as I restart the game I get stuck on the loading screen again, forcing me to run the repair tool again.

There are no error messages, the game simply never stops loading even though everything has been loaded. This happens on every single character now.

What do I do?

Hello.

I finally decided to go do some Hall of Monument stuff, but I can’t log in because I can’t remember any of my GW1 characters names. I’ve tried using the GW1 support but most links lead to dead sites, and my email was automatically replied to by a bot telling me to go to a site that was also dead. I’ve tried using the NCsoft store to buy a name change since that would list the characters on the account, but since I linked the GW1 account to GW2, I can’t log in with my NCsoft account.

Since my accounts are linked I assume that means they both use the same email and password, is this correct?

Is there anyway to find out what my GW1 character names were? I haven’t played GW1 since the month it came out so it’s been years since I last saw them.

I am having this problem as well! Started today (30th august) , constantly getting kicked back to the character selection screen along with the “code=7:11:3:191:101” message.

Is it a problem on my end? Anything I can do to fix it?

Has anyone else seen this? Zojja’s cool hat disappears during cutscenes/dialogue. Very strange.

Here’s another out of combat picture that shows it a bit better, it’s very obvious from behind. You can see that the ears are not matching, one hangs lower and one sticks out a bit.

Forgive me if this is an old issue, but while making yet another Asura, I for the first time noticed that their ears are different sizes! I havent noticed this before while making other Asura, so I’m not sure what caused it.

I changed ear settings around, but the issue remained, and I had no choice but to make an Asura with broken ears.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it new? Is there a fix?

In the Destiny’s Edge book, Snaff and Zojja make a reference to using base 12 math, and that other races are stupid for resorting to counting on their fingers.

You can make an Asura that looks very similiar to Zojja.
I wasn’t trying to make mine look like Zojja (face that is, I totally stole her spare clothes), but you can see how some minor changes to facial features would make her very identical looking.

I know what you mean, hopefully Arena Net are aware how big of a deal this is, and they’re working on a solution.

If you’ve submitted a ticket, all you can do now is wait. If you haven’t gotten a response after 3 days, post in the second thread I linked.

I’m in a similiar position as yourself, we can only hope this is some big mix-up and that we’ll get our accounts back soon. Since there are a lot of people experiencing this, it must mean that something is wrong.

I’m in the same boat as you, Nightwatch.
First time I’ve ever been banned from anything in my life. I’ve played MMO’s for 7 years.

I’ve been banned for almost 3 days now, and I’m terrified I’ll lose my account for good.

I put about 150euros into this game because I liked it and wanted to support it, I’ve played for over a hundred hours. I haven’t shared my account with anyone, nor have I used 3rd party programs.

I love this game, to lose my account like this is horrible.

Submitted support ticket, but have gotten no emails.

My account was unjustly terminated recently, but no Email was sent out to inform me about it.

I’ve created a support ticket and sent it in, but got no email confimation of it arriving or anything.

Is this normal? What circumstances trigger an email from Anet?

I was perma banned yesterday (17th October) without warning.
I didn’t get an email or anything about this, is that normal?

I opened a support ticket yesterday, but haven’t gotten a response yet, is there anything more I can do?
