Scaling areas to lvl 80 "Hardcore mode"

Hi.

I’m not going to tell you my story and every step my thought process went to to get to this point,I’ll just voice out my suggestion.

Ability to enter every area scaled to lvl 80( area scaling,not player scaling).
I imagine it like that:
you port to any WP in your chosen area and enter a portal to an “alternate” version of the area(background to this could be anything mist-related).

The areas would be made really difficult,with double or triple amount of mobs in dynamic events and a lot more tougher enemies(silver/gold)[it would be also great if there were made TEAMS of tactically combined mobs,working together and using actual class abilities and all sharing the same aggro{if you aggro one,they all come}] all across the map. These areas would be mostly visited by teams of 5,due to being too difficult to complete alone. There should also be a max capacity of,say, 6 teams of 5 people per hardcore map, and 30 spots total for solo players and 2-4 man teams,so that it’s never overcrowded but keeps event scaling in tact(so that it gets even more difficult and fun)

I believe it would prove to be a lot more fun compared to repetitive dungeons, and would mostly focus on skillful dispatching of strong,large groups of enemies instead of using the “best tactic” for the boss/group of mobs.

I understand,that the main issue here is server capacity and generally the amount of “virtual space” these areas would take up,but just think about it: Harathi Hinterlands,all OVERFLOWING with gold/silver lined centaurs…the whole chain of dynamic events that include killing hundreds of centaurs, finally made exciting,difficult and rewarding.

One other thing that could be added is WvWvW hardcore maps,where you could do dynamic events,tasks and exploration, while fighting mobs AND other players.

Tell me what you think people,crush me,abuse me,or better yet,provide some insightful feedback and help make this happen. If there’s interest in the idea, I can elaborate.

(bug)Mortar, Grenades and Mines, bugged when using on or near destructible environment.

One other gamebreaking thing on mortar/grenade engies is the camera. Every time I set up a mortar I need to center my aim first and then pray that the camera won’t move due to terrain/lamp post/rock…after that aiming is just painful. One way to work around it is maintaining an elevated position,but since range is vertical+horizontal I can’t shoot too far. Same thing is with grenades. I have 1500 range(yay!) and I can effectively throw at 900 at most while moving,due to my camera moving and the necessity of ground targeting(don’t get me wrong- ground targeting is ok,but to do it properly there should be an option to zoom out the camera just a little further)..like the delay(grenades actually reaching their destination) isn’t enough.
also…are all engineers alone? I mean,you need to have a REALLY strong arm to throw grenades further(1500) than a mortar can launch a mortar shell (1400).
