Guild Wars 2

It is called a PERSONAL story line, not GROUP story line. They need to be consistent and make it for one person. What a waste, everything up to the end is solo, then BAM, fahgitaboutit, you lose.

It’s not his hardware, it is GW2. SEVERAL people, including me, have the exact same issue. There have been several posts regarding it.

My problems started this past Sunday, January 20th.

I get very laggy, takes several seconds to turn or target then BLACK SCREEN POWER SAVE MODE.

Beginning this past Saturday afternoon, January 19, 2013, when I log in, the game becomes very laggy. Within minutes of this happening my monitor goes into ‘power save’ mode and shuts down. I have 4 toons in different cities and zones, none are not affected. The first time it happened, I was on my level 80 toon, in Cursed Shores, trying to finish my storyline, trying to gain access to the Arah Dungeon area. The quest battle was in full force and black screen, entering power save mode. No sound, nothing. I powered down, and back up, logged into my level 26 who was in the City of Claypool and whispered to my friend what had happened. Before I got a response it happened again. Rinsed and repeated and got a response from him, then black screen.

I have 3 monitors. Only the main monitor shuts down, the other two remain on but my mouse is stuck on the main monitor, neither Alt-Tab nor Control-Alt-Delete work. I have to power down and turn it back on to regain control. Through the video driver control panel I have turned off the other monitors and tried to log in, same result. I have updated all drivers, no change.

I have a Dell XPS 720, 2.4GHz, 8GB RAM, 64-bit Operating System, Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1, U-Verse internet connection which I have had for a year and never had an issue until day before yesterday.

This morning, early, I logged in and was fine until my second event. Then I noticed it was taking 2 or 3 seconds to target after clicking. Everything got extremely laggy, again, black screen, power save mode. I started the game again, selected my toon, clicked play, immediately black screen, power save mode.
