Reported this this morning (6:30am-ish Pac time) via the /bug option… the Crests are not correct either, and any of the Opals that are 3 stats are incorrect. All are missing the +power.

Even with a single click, if you want all the sun beads needed to make all 19 items (@ 75 beads each mind ya), that is 1425 clicks you are doing to that poor mouse button. Now, if there were an option to buy the required 75 beads at one shot, that would be easier. However, an option for 1, 10, 100 and 250 would be nice.

EDIT: I am not asking for it on everything, only those things people need to buy in quantities of greater than 10 to do anything with. Karma boxes, sun beads, etc. Kind of like how ANet has it on the crafting vendors.

The image at the end of the post. Where is that from? I know for certain that isn’t in any of the BLs. I don’t play enough EB to know if that picture is located on that map. Am I reading into something that I shouldn’t be????

LOL my thoughts exactly it looks as though the image quality is turned down and at a res of 1024×768. Not only that look at the armor those people in screenie are wearing, no weapon auras either and noticed how they are spaced apart in a semi circle.

Something definately smells rotten in Denmark.

I checked the image properties (not saying it has not been adjusted), and it states 1,920px × 1,080px. As for image location, it is the North West side of Stonemist, between Anz and Stonemist. (See attachment)

I have the same thought about a guild commander’s badge. Guild leader and I were discussing this this last week. We had the same thought, make the badge gold. I like the idea of the Level 5 of Art of War as the tie in. Maybe open up the option on the rank setup?

The main reason this is a good idea, is that the guild I am in normally runs two teams in WvW at some points. And we inevitably get split. This would be a great help! This would only show up in WvW.

I was on tonight, and checking the points as I killed the Veteran Guild Claiming rep, and got no points. Same with the Dolyaks… no points while they were in the supply camp.

So far, the focus is on the points that are gained for capping/owning camps, towers and keeps. What are the OTHER ways to get points? So far there have been only two people that have responded to that portion of the question. These points are:

1 point per veteran killed
Variable points for Dolyaks
Points for capping the guard points (?)

It is obvious that there are other ways to get points, otherwise we would not have scores that do not end in a 5 or 0.

In this case, the server had 240 pnts per 15 mins. The points are pretty even. 240, 230 and 225. Though that is approx. and the more recent was about the same when I posted the question.

I am trying to figure out how the point system works. I understand the points per 15min. However I do not understand how a server can go from 4k points to 9k points in difference in a matter of four hours. As I understand the points:

+5 pnts per Supply Depot
+10 pnts per Tower
+25 pnts per Keep
+35 pnts for Stone Mist

These are abundantly clear as there are tool tips on the WvW Stats and Bonuses window. I mean, do we also get points for killing the Dolyaks, Invaders, Special NPCs, etc? Would like to know what the other points are and for what. If this information is available on the Wiki, I was unable to locate it.

EDIT: Do not focus on the main points gotten (ie from the above mentioned keeps, towers, camps and castle), I am looking for the other ways to get points in WvWvW.

The right time to stop free transfers ?

before they shut them down for good they need to close out the bottom tier servers. The PvE maps can hold much larger numbers of players even on the full servers (full can be adjusted up a lot as it was for the invite a friend weekend) and it was just the ridiculous low WvW map population caps that required more worlds to be opened up in first place. Now that interest in WvW has settled down it would be a good time to merge up a few worlds for better 24/7 competition and that has to be done before the close down the free transfers.

And what do you propose for all the guilds that have a high population and have taken the time to upgrade their guilds on the low WvW servers? As I understand it, the points earned for a guild is relative to the server they are on. As are the upgrades. If a guild is spread across 2+ servers, they earn points on each of those servers.

If you propose to have ANet transfer all those points to the new servers, the guilds would have to redo the upgrades. Moving the upgrades can be a nightmare if a guild has two guild banks (one on each server). You do understand the database nightmare this would cause. Also, you would essentially have to break up the guild to do the transfers as well (by breaking up, I mean they could end up on multiple servers…. again).

Honestly, if a world does not want to do WvW, that is their choice. Just let the server be, do not propose something just because they do not want to participate in something you like to do. Besides, I have this sudden image of the first BWE weekend… where everyone in the guild I am in was spread across multiple overflows.

Let’s not forget the que up time either. Be honest, how many times have you qued to enter a map, gotten there (after waiting for a long period of time) to find that you need to be on another map, and there is a que for that as well (again, another long period of time). Those PvEers will at some point want to get in there to finish up their mapping, so… now you are wanting to extend that WvW que up time.

In response to OP, I agree, it is time to stop the free world transfers. Or at least lengthen them to 2 or 3 weeks, and lengthen the time over time until Anet is ready to implement the Guesting option.

I’m a Commander for the Northern Shiverpeaks server and I have to say I find this ridiculous.
Commanders are simply a form of co-ordination, you do not have to follow us if you don’t want to.
So we are wealthy? We are successful? What of it, you can make 10G on a good day in WvW.
I spend a disgusting amount of time in WvW and usually take it upon myself to carry enough siege to wipe the entire map as well as enough gold to reinforce it. Thats simply just economics and in fact its essential in winning WvW. If you don’t upgrade you will lose.

But yeh guys, I’m wasn’t always a good Commander. Everyone has to start somewhere. I’d WvW’ed a lot before buying Commander. Enough to say that I deserved it, but I was a PvE farmer and who wants one of those to lead them?

But leading a zerg is something you have to have down to a fine art if you want to do it tactically. Which is what separates a crap Commander and a good one. It takes a hell of a lot of practice to memorize the sequences as well as the places where its best to engage an enemy zerg so that your guys have the terrain advantage. But what a few people don’t actually know is that Commander training is a growing thing since more and more people are becoming one and I urge anyone who is close to Commander to get at least a few hours in with a veteran.

HA!! I am from the Sorrows Furnace server. You guys have a 24×7 zerg of about 50 players going around each of those zones. That is a minimum of 200 players. Being a commander has nothing to do with it, you guys are just zerging. We cap a point, and you over power with 20+ players as soon as we leave the area. Fortifying… pfft. That 50 player zerg you are with hits as soon as we take a keep.

All a commander is is a blue dot people follow because…. It is a BLUE icon, not a green dot. Personally, commanders should be earned not bought.

Yep, I agree with D W. I run across them frequently… the funniest was a Ranger that I swear was reminiscent of a sprinkler… turning in a circle while holding the Auto-attack. First one I know for certain was botting was a group of 3-4 avatars in one spot attacking with a spread shot to hit anything. That was in the Charr 50-60 zone by a bridge.

Is it Arena Nets intent to allow people that you block/ignore that are part of the guild you are in to have the person still able to be seen in Guild chat? Example: Block player X, X posts chat in Guild channel, and it shows up still.

Still broken on server Sorrows Furnace. Been this way now for over 24 hours.
