I want an ingame character album, preferably which includes weapons and backpacks. The character selection window is nice though, even if you can only see one character at a time, but still feels incomplete without some of the gear.

I cant get my collection to register using the testing device (don’t remember the name of it) after completing “A fungus among us” for silver.

The horrible thing for me is that it takes me between 1-2 hours to get a silver medal. I find this adventure very hard. Not only do I not like playing super Mario under time stress, I get really stressed up, but I also suck at it. How much more time and frustration do I need to go through for this? I don’t even know what the bug is.

I have tried using the inventory item for this at both the start and end location of the adventure. I looked up a video of another guy who managed to get an update. Even standing in his exact location, after getting the silver medal, I don’t get an update.

With my support ticket and via mail, I sent all the screenshots Anet asked for, and all Igot in return was: “we are looking into it”. That was 2 weeks ago.

Hi and sorry if this has been brought up before, in that case just provide me with a link to the answer. Im not usually on the forums but since ingame support is non-existant I go here to get some information.

Im currently in Auric Basin and my personal story step is somewhere in Chapter 14, Sign Carving. I followed Rox’s first couple of tracks but after 2 (or 3) my story information, as provided in the top right corner of the screen, does not update. No matter what I do I cant get it to work again. The map shows a sign for me to go to the Tangled Depths, as a green whirlpool at the map exit, but on the other side there is nothing.

In the story tab under character menue, there is also no option to reset the chapter, to start over. I can only close it, to pick up old PS. But once I reactivate the Maguuma story I find myself stuck in the same bugged you chapter 14.

I don’t know what to do.

I don’t get some people in this thread, at all. There are a gazillion rewards in this game, from a lot of different content. Some pieces are harder to get, some are just handed to you. Getting the shiniest fractal backpiece comes to mind, as in contrast to the first +1 power back piece you get as a low lvl reward.

Following the logic of the vocal minority in this thread I will now state that I, as a roleplayer, want all skins (legendary weapons and armor) by just roleplaying in LA. I wish that I could earn a token per emote I do and that I after say 30 tokens can go and get MY Twilight or MY legendary armor in HoT. I want everything accessible by the way I play the game. Because I am entitled to. Why should I need to put any effort into stuff I don’t like?

God forbid challenges, gief all now!

I dont believe that permanent changes to the world is impossible to do on a character basis. Why? Well, some of you might remember “that other game”. In the frosty expansion they kind of made a new effect in game they calles “phasing”.

For those who have no clue as to what I am speaking about, I will do a short summery.

You arrive at a scouts hiding place, he asks you to kill the mobs in the area and while you are at it, kill the necromancer who keeps summoning the undead around this particular valley.

You set off, killing what needs to be killed. When you return to the scout and hand in your mission, the place transforms into a small camp. A few NPCs appear with their gear and stuff, a small tent or whatever.

Now, the phasing has made the world in this small area change. It will look like this to all players who are on the same stage of that questline. New players who enter the area for the first time will not see you and you will not see them, they are in another phase starting/doing the first mission or just passing through.

The mission series can continue until several phases later, a fortress now stands when at first there was nothing.

This technology exists, and is used “in that other popular game”. I dont play it any more, since long, but I remember that permanent changes on a character level was made with a technology that now is old.

Sure, there are some problems as well. Too much phasing and you will have people disappear all over the map, since they are in different phases. But well harnessed, for key locations or event it might be a very good thing. I like it, since you actually saw the world change as you went through it.

Here among the withered bones
amidst the dust of ages
beneath a crumbled broken stone
unknown to history’s pages
a curse so foul upon his bones
sung by priests and sages
here resides the sleeping one
safe from trolls and rages
