I love how as players are getting stronger with Ascended gear, pets are stuck at the same base stats. This hinders a roaming ranger by a fair margin. One of the easiest way to kill a condi/BM spec ranger is to kill the pet.

Not going to go into Zerg play because we all know how that ends for a pet.

So as the player gets stronger with gear so should your pet. There are several ways this could be implemented but making it balanced would be the issue.

Anet has a long way to go with pets and how they work. I just hope some fixes come soon.

Swagg (6th post in) had a very good idea for ranger pet customization.

This might have been addressed already but as players are getting stronger (ascended weapons and soon to be armor) our pets are staying the same. Pets scaling to their master would do a world of wonders.

How does the Roaming build hold up with soloing a camp?

Nice use of the short bow/GS combo. I am pretty much running the same setup and gear but using a long bow. Why? Well because its Kudzu and I can’t just park it in my bags. Very good vid though!

Nice Build!!! I am working on collecting all the gear to give a full run. I have half and it does work very well with what i have. I was wondering how is this build for soloing camps? Also I know why you are using longbow but have you tried out shortbow?

Funny thing is i actually rerolled to a ranger. I have an 80 engi, 80 warrior, and my old main is an 80 necro (250 hours played with him alone). I enjoy the ranger a lot though. I can understand some of the QQ in these threads but overall ranger is not bad.

GW2 was my relaxing MMO with no worries of rushing etc. But A Net screwed that up.

The best idea is to focus on both ( balance between them ).

This is what i aim for as well. My armor is power, vit, and condition damage. My accessories are prec, toughness, and condition damage. I found this setup works best for me.

You have nothing to be sorry for. A lot of people were able to complete the puzzle. There was plenty of time for all to complete it. There is no need to cater to the bads. So I ask don’t change a thing.
