-Map completion constantly resets because of hearts, remove hearts as a requirement for mapping. Or at least make them a one time mapping requirement.
I don’t believe this is true, you only need to complete all the hearts once and you get full map completion. After the reset the map completion stays.
-Navigation can be annoying , the thermal tubes can be confusing as they never seem to point in the direction they shoot you, maybe face them the right way and put a directional arrow on the map for them.
Are you not playing the same game? Because they have exactly that. Arrows that point in the direction they shoot you.
I agree, there are a few ways to implement repeatable content, and this isn’t the best way. I would like the hearts to stay completed but give the player the option to repeat them once every day, by talking to the NPC for example. Now it is more of a nuisance.
It goes directly against the game arenanet wanted to create and the casual open world experience.
I wouldn’t call it casual if the whole map has to work together and communicate to succeed.
Nothing like taking a brilliant game and completely binning some of the best aspects of it for the sake of dumbing down for the console generation eh
Well this is a big part in the reason why I bought the game, started playing it and dropped in within a couple of months. GW2 has nothing in common with GW1 except the name. It was an automatic break of promise to those who were along for the ride from the first announcement of GW2.
People can like both GW1 and GW2, but nobody can maintain that the two games have much in common at all if anything. Just the cosmetics they are bringing back in. And because the systems are so different, I don’t expect them to bring back GW1 style skill choice in this game.
I can reminisce and complain forever that GW2 isn’t like GW1 at all and that they didn’t deliver on their earlier promises and representations. But that’s all water under the bridge now. I do play GW2 now casually and spent some money on it gladly, but I’ll never be into it as I was with GW1. Such is the reality for me and life does go on.
I agree with this completely. I remember being so excited when they announced ‘the next chapter for Guild Wars’ only to find out it had nothing in common with the old game. The systems that made GW1 so amazing are nowhere to be found in GW2. Also I am a sucker for the GW1 combat system so GW2 was never really going to be IT for me. I still enjoy the game though.
Although I like the idea, I wouldn’t want Anet to relocate any resources into developing such a feature. Nor have them hire new people for it. I think there are plenty of other subjects in the game that deserve more attention/development time.
I’m looking for a semi-harcore PvE guild. Not hardcore because I don’t have the hours to play that much, but semi since I’m experienced with fractals and want to try raiding in GW2. I’m currently on the NA side but I live in Europe so I’ll transfer back. Could I join this guild for the social aspect of the game, just to have people to play with? My IRL friends stopped playing a long time ago and I find that I just don’t enjoy GW2 as much when I play solo. Being on a NA server during EU times also isn’t great so that’s why I’m coming back to EU. Basically looking for a friendly group of people to play the game with and who knows maybe even join the raidteam. Skill is not a problem, I have raided in other games for years. I’m looking forward to your response

Keeps happening during big events. Never had problems with events on full servers before the patch.
1. Please look at the mechanics of Deathshroud and make it a little more viable and interesting.
What is wrong with it and what do you want changed?
I think everyone agrees on minions needing a change.
There isn’t one BEST build. It depends on how you want to play, but I suggest conditionmancer if I have to name something. Just google/youtube it. It’s based around condition removal/transfer from allies to enemies etc.
Stay away from minions :P
