You could go for the Spirit Wep Build 30/30/0/0/10. I personally like this build because you can use any set of weps and make it work. As it implies, it relies on spirit weps not only to help support you, but also to be really good dps. Spirit hammer has a knock back in its attack chain, and spirit sword has a nice AoE. The last skill slot is up to you, you can swap in spirit sheild for some range protection and a weaken skill action or maybe a stun breaker, like “Hold the Line”. I personally run this build and it works great for PvE, dungs, and solos.
They do disipate after a while.
This might just be my perspective, but does anyone else find the guardians hammer and scepter work really well on tough veterans and (sometimes) champions? I can get my 3 auto swing on enemy, follow with a mighty blow, banish, then zealots embrace, switch to scepter and use my AoE(if necesary i can immobilze again with chains of light). Anyone else agree?
Hello,
My name is Mr Zablinx. I’m looking for a large/medium PvE/WvW guild in Northen Shiverpeaks. I play as often as i can. I enjoy meeting people and making friends. I’m one of those people, that if you wanna go run a dung or just explore a map, i’m you’re guy. I don’t have ventrilo, but i can aquire it if necesary. I’m currently working on a lvl 25 guardian.
Thank you for reading.
Personally, a good way to counter a lack of AoE is to have exlirs. Having two elxirs (such as the rage, retaliation, and might one coupled with swiftness) and using rifles 5th skill (the rifle jump) works really well at dealing with groups of enemys (especially illusions/phantams since they are always crowded toghether).
Sorry about not saying the actual elixr names, i cant remeber them at the moment.
So i was looking through the different servers Arena Net has, and i was just wondering, is there any benefit to choosing one over the other?
I think a good skill to have for the engineer would be some sort of charge shot: you hold down the skill button and the longer you hold it, the more damage it does. Would be a good replacement for one of the two blunderbuss-esque skills we have. Would definetly help with keeping our distance.
There really needs to be something done about the engineer’s rifle. It needs things that help engies stay a far distance away. I mean, practically all the skills are close range but 2 of them. What’s worse is some environmental weapons are better. Anyone been around the Ascalonian ghost area? That place has these “ghost rifles” that you can pick up that have way better skills(one of them being a charged shot that practical ko’s the enemy in one go) then our regular skills. I just wish arena net would add something to help balance it out.
Think of it as an auction house: when someone puts an item up, two people will constantly raise the price so the other can’t buy it. It’s the same with the trading post but in the opposite direction: the lower you put your item at, the better chance it has of actually selling. Chances are someone put the item for lower then you did, which drove its actual selling price down. Just my theory.
So, i was collecting green wood and the such, and i was noticing that sometimes i get more then three woods in one go. Is this because my gatheirng level rose, or because im using better gathering gear (iron axe as opposed to copper axe)?
Ok, so im looking at the stuff i can craft, and i notice that as my level in armorsmithing went up, some colors changed in my recipes? Anyone know what that means?
