Gah, so i was working on a tribute video in honor of Tybalt, and this is what i ended up with >_<

I dont understand the freaking Ratio. My friend said that 50$ equals like, 12.5G. Is this freaking true? I was gonna purchase some gems for gold, but if thats the rate. I’ll take my money else where. o_o

I saw a quote from Anet on gw2 guru somewhere that said Guild Halls are in development.

Actually I remember they saying somewhere that guild houses were not in the plans.

“Guild halls will not be included in the initial release of Guild Wars 2; they will be implemented some time later.” Actually, I remeber them saying clearly it wasnt going to be implemented till later. Guild House/Halls. SameThing.

The OP presents some good ideas but the servant option seem oriented toward human noble players. What about an option based on more on your background and race?

Instead of servants, a human from the streets could have the option to hire toughs and thugs as guards. Orphans and widows could be brought in from the streets since we’re supposed to be heroes. Reformed criminals could become your assistants. You character could evolve in the instance into a kind of benevolent underworld lord.

A human with a common background might get their own bar and hire workers there.

An asura would get more workers in their lab. A charr might be new members of their warband. Human options would work for norn (esp. the bar option! It would be funny to open one in the main lodge). Not sure about sylvari.

Anyway, I’m just saying the basic idea of servants are good but they will need to be tailored for race and story background.

Before you go off on me like a firecracker, I just wanted to say. Iunno if anet was gonna do anything spectaular for seasonal events.(i bet they are but heres some ideas for the heck of it!)

Since Halloweens around le Corner, lets start with that.

For Halloween:
Events: Lets have some fun events~ Make us look forward to Halloween next year. Have events like. “Bobbing for Apples” “Trick or Treat” “Pumpkin Carving” “Haunted Houses”
With each event you’d get a Reward, like a Special Candy, that when you get. Say 10 of em, you can trade em for a Fabulous Halloween-Related outfits/Accessories.
Witches, Ghouls, Headless horsemen, Pumpkin Heads, Candy Buckets, Mini Black Cat, Mini Witch.
You could also go around, giving treats or Tricks to NPCs and Players.

Thanksgiving Day: Lots of Turkeys Everywhere~ Cute pilgrim outfits and Turkey outfits~ C: Turkey food items that turn you into Turkeys,

Christmas:
For Christmas, have Giant Christmas trees in each of the Races home areas. Allow Santa Claus, Elfs, and Reindeer Outfits to be giving out as rewards for doing things like.
Returning Lost gifts to children, Sled Riding, Making Gingerbread houses, Snowball Fights.
(I want reindeer outfits, i wanna be a Charr Reindeer.)
A Special Skill that allows you to make snowballs, while your in the snow and throw em at Friends, NPCs and Eneimes.

New years is kinda boring… How about! a huge ball that drops every other hour! !
And lots of Fireworks!

Valentines Day:
Lots of Red and White clothing, Cupid Bow and Arrow, Making Chocolate, Giving chocolate to NPC, and to your dearest. Big Hearts!

This is all i was able to think of for now, I tried to sum it up, so i wouldnt burn your eyes with alls of text. Feel free to post below with your own ideas!

Lets start with Player-House Frist.

For one, I love that fact that theres a Home Instance but.. Where do you live in that Instance? Do you have your own House?
I would personally love to have Player-Housing implemented sometime in the future, Everyone would start off with a Simple House, that Small house with Their servant.

For aminute lets talk about the Servant.
The Servant will be a NPC that will do anything and everything for you. They’ll have options like
“Buy Guards”
“Buy Servants”
“Buy House-Upgrades”
“Allow Raids”
ect.

Buy Guards.
This upgrade wouldnt be avaible until you’ve upgraded your house some. But it would allow you to buy Guards to protect your house from things such as, Centuars, Robbers, Trolls, and other kinds of Enemies. Basicly, while in your house it could be attacked by something or someone. (If you choose to have that option.)When they attack certian eneimes would cause certian things. Like Robbers would rob you, Centuars would take hostages, and so forth. After the raid, if anything was lost You’re servant would tell you, and let you know what was lost. Then youd have the choice to A: Go get back Your stuff. or B: Forget about it and send your Guards. (But the guards could also get captured.)
Each Guard Cost 10S, with your ability to choose what race and Gender you want your Guard to be, Like Hylek Female, or Quaggan Male.

Buy House-Upgrade.
Everyone will start with a simple home, Later on. You could buy Upgrades for your house from your Servant, It could be like so.

LV1: —--
LV2: 2nd Floor or Basement. Requirements: CLV5 5Silver, or 10*insert wood name here* Wood.
LV3: (If chose 2nd floor) Basement or New Walls. CLV10, 10Silver or 10Wood, 20 jute, and so forth.

Basicly it would keep going until you are CLV80, and your house will eventually move from a Small Hut, to a CASTLE if you wanted, and once your house reached LV5 or LV10, you can Choose to move it somewhere, for example The shiverpeakes.

Buy Servants.
For a big house, youll need alot of servants. This is where your Main Servant, Babalagoosh.(Madeupname) comes in, He/She/it Is your Number 1 Servant. Cant Get captured, or killed. He/She/It will allow you to buy anything and everything. Your able to buy all types of Servants. M/F Servant, M/F Maid/Butler, M/F, Cook. After choosing the Gender, your able to choose the Race, You’d be able to have a Male Quaggan Butler, or a Female BirdRace Maid. Just to add something different.
The Servant price changes depending on your House, and the Servant type.
Servant: 1s and would go up a Silver every 2nd Upgrade.
Butler/Maid 25S and would go up every 3rd upgrade.
Cook 50S and would go up every 5th Upgrade.

Allow Raids
This is Self-Explainitory, Like i mentioned before, Raids will allow eneimes to attack your house. This wouldnt be avaible till your House is LV10 tho.

Also, allow friends to enter your house, and move in(of course they would still have their ownn House)

The other day i was curitous if the leader could actually demote themselves from Guild Leader, Co or member. you can. Whats the point? Why would the Master want to demote Themselves when we can create new ranks?

If the Guild Master is leaving or somthing then they can just make a new rank with Guild Master permissions or promote someone else to Guild master, Reguardless Guild Masters shouldn’t be able to demote themselves! >:| I mean sure if you demote yourself the Guild Master title goes to your 1st Nominated Co, and they can just promote you back to master. Thats to much tho. Remove the ability for a Guild Master to demote themselves.

Event Suggestions

1: Event BookMarks.
We should be allowed to bookmark events, and get Notification when the event starts.
You would have the option to book mark em, after the event.

It would appear as so
(XYZ was XXXX Completed!)
1,000 EXP 200 Karma No Moniez.
Bookmark This event?
Yes? No?

Game Mechanic Suggestion:

1: Add New Scaling Options
By this I mean, if your in a Party with 4 other people Everything should start scaling. The monsters get Tougher, The EXP gets better, the drops get better. Honestly If this was implented it would bring a whole new meaning to Parting. I’ve seen many people say “This is Guild Wars, You dont need to party!” or somthing Similar or worse.

2: Dungeon Difficulty
Make it so each dungeon Starts on Easy, then once you finish and goto start Story mode(or Explore mode) you’ll be prompted to chose a difficulty. The Difficultys would be like “Easy, Normal, Hard, and Ultimate” With each difficulty There would be new Restrictions.
Easy Mode: None
Normal: Monsters are Stronger.
Hard: Monster are Stronger and Armor Breaks Faster.
Ultimate: Monster are Stronger(2 Hits and your near death), But have terrible defense(1-3hits and they are dead). Armor Breaks in 2 Deaths. Healing Skills take longer to Recharge.

But of course, with each difficulty The EXP,Money, and Loot would get better. Also the harder monsters would enforce more Team-Work rather than Zerging.
With Each difficulty, the Level required would increase by 5. (Unless its a LV80Dungeon like Arah)

Gem Store Suggestions:

1: Gems2Gold/Gold2Gems Exchange chart.
Lets say I’m going to buy the 50$ Bundle of Gems next month, and i want to turn them into Gold. Alas! I dont know how much I would get. Add a Chart That shows the Gems to Gold/Silver/Copper exchange, and let the User chose what payment they want.

EX: Gems to Gold Exchange
1 Gem = 1Gold (not really but its an example.)

Thus it would continue going up, 2Gems 2Gold, and so forth.

2: Store Rotation.
I honestly dont know if anet has confirm theyll rotate items in the Gem Store or not, but The 1st of each Month, the Gem store should rotate items. Each month adding something new to the categories.

3: New Dye Colours
Add some new SUPER Rare Dyes. Our current dye Catagory, is
Starter
Common
Uncomon
Rare

how about a new Catagory, Super Rare.
The Super Rare Catagory would contain crazy Dyes.

EX: Super Rare: Rainbow Dye(I know the names stupid, Youll get over it.)
Appling this dye to any Piece of armor would cause that armor piece to constantly change colors.

4: Style-Transmoditfy
A Style-Transmod woul allow the user to take only the appearance of other armors.
Like taking the look a Heavy Armor, and using it as a ranger. (Since medium armor sucks)

Skills Suggestions:

1: Add guild Emblem to Banners.
Theres so many Banners that Warrior gets, but the banners are so plain. Bleh.
if a warrior uses a Banner it should have the guild they Represent(IF that guild has a Emblem)

2: Warrior/Charr Underwater Skills.
To be honest, Im not aware if its Just Warrior or just Charr, but Their underwater skills suck. Punching and kicking? Thats not really helpful. Their warriors make them have a Hidden knife on em or something. I just dont think Punching and kicking underwater is really helpful.

(While on the UnderWater Topic, the Skales Regeneration is way to op. Thats crazy how fast they recover. if your downed you have no chance at getting back up if your VSing a skale.)
