Not to mention the Gifts of Exploration for legendary weapons only obtained through said map completion. If things were “unfogged” and all WP’s available, people would have a difficult time earning completion the second time through.

Gah, this is why harvesting tools should be account bound. If they were 800 gems each, and given to all characters, I’d have bought the flame tools already, and would now be buying at least the logging axe for my necromancer (and any future necromancers). As it stands, I’ve bought no tools at all because having them on a single character, or moving them between, isn’t worth it.

Cool for those who will get use out of them like this, but ANet are losing a lot of gem sales here.

You do know that the tools have been account bound for some time already?

I think they meant that once bought, they would appear in every character’s inventory on that account and not have to transfer them to the bank before logging off and then taking them out of the bank again with a newly logged in character.

I crafted cooking 0-400 yesterday, 7 levels gained. Level 41 to 48, so yes it seems fixed.
