Away… I didn’t get to attend it because the event was right smack in the middle of my midterms for college. I couldn’t get distracted so I stayed away from GW2

Current Server: Isle of Janthir (Might transfer to Tarnished)

Interested Activities: I am VERY chatty. I love exploring all the maps, I haven’t really pvp’d at all, and I’m down for dungeons (though I’m new so no idea when my first dungeon is…)

Active: I’m in my 3rd year of college (almost there Civil Eng degree! almost!) so I usually play everyday, but the time of the day is irregular as I’d be studying randomly.

Additional Comments: As mentioned, I am so kitten chatty. It don’t matter if your a stranger or whatever. Sadly whenever I speak to random people in GW2, they just run off

Thanks for the replies guys! I tried to join Isle of Janthir but the server was just full and remained full =/ So I just went on the Dragon server or something. Still seems like plenty people are around. I really do love lore. I spent like the first few hours just talking to NPC’s and stuff, and by doing that I freaking initiated Dynamic Events (SO COOL!) like where I had to talk down Ash Legion soldiers and stuff.

I plan to take my time and explore each area, because man oh man, GW2 is SERIOUSLY pretty. I can’t help but just explore. I also read the sticky, and learned some valuable stuff!

Hey guys! I just purchased GW2 off Amazon with the 25% off coupon code thing. For $60 this thing is a steal, and when I saw it for $45 I JUMPED on that deal.

I played a bunch of WoW a year ago… I played TERA for a while also, and I played RIFT. Needless to say, I’ve been in a bunch of MMO’s and as you can see, all were subscription-based MMO’s. I pretty much got bored of all of the above because it was just the same stuff over and over. Everything was about ignoring the leveling experience, and getting to end-game.

I did however enjoy TERA alot more than the rest, due to the awesome combat gameplay in it.

I played in a GW2 beta a while back because I had a PAX code and after that, I was hooked. I am SURE I will love this game, but I was just wondering if you guys have any advice for a noob like me? I haven’t played a single Guild Wars game… so help a noob out? :P
