This made me smile and then reroll a thief from power necro.

I also enjoy playing power necro the most. I enjoy throwing down wells and the ability to go lich form in order to destroy their whole team. I tend to work well in any sized fights; anywhere from 1v1 to 5v5. The skills all feel very meaningful to use the whole time. Most of all I like the burst I can obtain (especially in lich form).

What do I do with my crafting material overflow? Should I delete my arcane powders or is there some use for my twenty stacks of powder I’m missing.

Has Anet released the formula? Do we know all of the factors that contribute to our rating? I am very curious.

I get so happy every time this map pops up in soloq. The kind of skill it requires is completely different than normal maps and its like a breath of fresh air for me.

IMO we need more maps like it.

I have 2 80’s (thief and war) I’ve tried every other class until at least lvl 10 and spvp just doesn’t do it for me. I want to take a character and really enjoy playing it but I can’t seem to do so. It’s a shame because I really want to love this game but I can. My biggest problem is not the game itself but my own characters. What did you guys do to find a character you truly enjoyed playing.

Hey guys so I’m kind of new to my warrior I’m busy working on his aesthetics at the moment having just gotten him to 80 last week and I made myself a greatsword spec based around sigils and crit and I have no idea which offhand to use. I enjoy using the Longbow for WvW but realistically I could always just equip it when necessary there.

So my question is which offhand should I use? Something defensive? Something with control? Something with support?

i do love this game though and love exploring all the characters, haven’t found one character i like the most yet though but ive played the warrior more than any of them

….for freeing me from the !@#$y games that are blizzard games. I look at the release of MOP and think “poor kittens”. They get happy bouning pandas while I get sick races like the charr and aestheically awesome ones like the sylvari. In diablo 3 the poor fools who play it get a game designed around blizzard making money off of their real money auction house. Here we get a company that designed an awesome game where, while yes it does have its faults, I can still enjoy the game as it was intended to be fun, not a chore where you back out to the aution house once you realize that 100 hours can go down the drain with no reward.

I will prolly have more complaints once I get better at the game, but in the meantime ALL HAIL THE WOW SLAYER.

Alright looks like I am going with a charr thief, charr because someone put it right when they said that it beats walkin plants, and thief because I am looking for the burst. Thanks guys! Any additional opinions would still be welcome though.

nuclear bomb that is hard to play, game difficuly is nothing for me in pvp

Just to help in the kind of playstyle I enjoy, I like coming in and being able to do lots of burst, and I don’t like being support or control. For example, my favorite spec in wow when I used to play was boomkin because I jumped in and just lit stuff up for major bust. I don’t know this game well at all so which of these two would be better?

Finally was able to buy guild wars 2 since they allowe online sales again today. Hopefully install will be finished by the time I get back from school tomorrow.

Just a question for people’s opinions, should I play a charr warrior first or a sylvari thief first?
