I love how Anet is actively answering other threads but still they are deliberately deciding to ignore this one. Putting specializations behind a grind wall is pretty sad but Anet being not willing to give an answer to the community is even worse. Just give us a currency sink (badges, karma and so on) to get hero points and the problem is solved. Easy as that.

The so called “spy” is someone of your guild, probably someone who was so ashamed of what was happening that had to tell us. In-game.

You guys both seem angry teenagers. Didn’t notice you’re a commander, that speaks for itself so there’s no need to go any further. Even trying to make you react doesn’t help, you’ll just keep making up numbers and stories to write on forums and i’m sure tonight you’ll still have the whole border on one pixel and tomorrow, you’ll be blaming someone else again if things won’t go as you would like to.
Instead of learning (not from us, i told you FSV is one of your guilds that could teach you a LOT) to play properly, (Guild Wars remember? GUILD wars!) you’ll keep fighting doors ‘cause it doesn’t require any commitment and makes it easier to farm badges, ranks and chests. Killing XxX is so easy, they can’t do this, they couldn’t do that, but when it comes to have a fight between guilds, everyone runs away (apart from FSV again). Keep blaming everyone else and feel accomplished, good for you it needs so little. Not going to get involved in this anymore, if not even calling you out works, enjoy doors and mud.

I don’t need guild that is like yours, shouting and emoting opposite players when u have 20 behind your back, chasing one player. I don’t zerg also and I can sit alright. Nobody cried about being killed, we complained because it was BORING. If your guilds could play as guilds, we definitely wouldn’t bother to fight your useless zerg.
Probably you would have liked better if we moved to flip camps so you could fight all the doors of the map without getting bothered to fight. We hide when we have even numbers? Nice try mate, if you want to troll, do it properly at least. As i said, you were the ones willing to attack and you were the ones that couldn’t even make it to the flag. Want small scaled action? Split your zerg, move as guilds and roam the map. We’ll be there to fight you, as everyone (apart from this guy, but it hurts when he sits, so it’s understandable) knows. We never avoid an even fight. So, my dear “old wvw player”, if you want to beat us, get a guild and look for us. If you don’t, stay inside the zerg and enjoy the mud. Sincerely,

Yeah, so if you gather your zerg to capture bay and your kitten gets beaten on the way, you can’t do nothing about that and the only thing left to do is to stand still on garrison’s path (possibly getting farmed). Nothing to do with tactics.

we tryed all the evening on FSP border not even a guild group running,only a big growing blob who always run away from us when we try to flank them,fps blob simply come out to fight 5/1 and when the fight still outnumber the other they see us they run in garrison:/ and there are some funny moment too,when they try to hunt us with like 50 /60+blob.

We tried whole evening on FSP border to fight guild groups but all we encouter was a big growing blob of XXX, YAK and 3rd zerg of random Gandara ppl. XXX always run back to bay if they failed to flank becouse they can’t attack when they don’t use 3 or 4 veils and need to wait for cooldowns to try again. FSP players at start were split into 3 groups but since Gandara had the need to blob and use 3 zerg as one and outnumbered FSP “5/1” (was more like 2to1 tbh, ~20 XXX, ~20 YAK, ~30 randoms vs ~15/20 FSP dedicated randoms, ~10 Kale, ~10 PunK ). Even then FSP went out to fight that giant blob in open field until we got overhelmed and regroup in garrison. Then we tried again.

There was also funny moment when that 50/60 GA blob went to “hunt” smaller FSP regrouping forces. From FSP perseptive funny moment was when XXX never attacked first, they always waited for pug zerg and YAK to attack and then flank us after stacking 5 min.

Thx for badges, it’s not the game XXX want ( they want enemy players to stand still and never use any skill cause it can kill them and XXX don’t like to die) . Unfortunetly only game XXX found this evening and participate in was blobing.

P.S. XXX flank is awsome! I saw them flanking 2 players in a camp, good they didn’t die trying to do that.

P.S. As an old wvw player I had never encouter such a disrespectful zerg as Gandra pug one. It’s like emote for every skill they use.

You could learn a couple things from FSV, like how to play the game and why there are guilds in this game. Or you can keep eating mud and then make up some numbers to write on forums to feel like a smart kitten Choice is yours.
And dear “old wvw player”, you deserve the laughs, you get the laughs. Want respect? Deserve some. Funny how this blob mindset gets even into forums, at least I’m not so arrogant to write for my whole server or my whole guild.

I really would like to see an answer from Anet. Not having the chance to have an equal fight with another guild in a game called “Guild Wars” just sounds wrong. To me at least.

Sorry to say that, but killing you guys is not such a great achievement to brag about or to build morale upon. In fact, Nem was pointing at the fact that you fleed when alone, but charged when having the backup zerg to cover your back and inc us 10 seconds later you did. Just a matter of style, actually, no trolling intended.

And playing the “you’re harming Gandara not letting us do what we want how we want” card… Really, given the context of this thread? I know you’re better than that, but it seems like you do seem to think you are entitled to play how you want, and others not how they want. Please correct me if this wasn’t what you meant. But if YOU choose to sit in spawn until the randoms leave YOU are ‘harming Gandara’ through the choice you are making, not them, and their choice to want to wvw and in their eyes help Gandara, even if it is ultimately detrimental.

I clearly do care about ‘you’ (being everyone in wvw thats not xXx? or are we still being personal? wow can’t believe this is going here, we can hug it out after man), since when I run with you I rarely wipe, and my builds are always for the group. I GIVE YOU more swiftness than many of your guildies will. But we are both now making huge generalisations. I realise this, do you? My point is there are others that aren’t bad, and there are many that are. Nothing will change it and certainly people cannot be made to play how we want, but as you do, they can be asked. I understand you want to play with your guilds. But do randoms really bother you that much? They don’t prevent any of your guildies from running with you, do they? How do they hinder/harm your guild play? You can still plan and coordinate in TS to your hearts content and you even get some more manpower!
Commander tags attract people. Big groups of people attract even more people. This nearly can’t be helped, I think. So why don’t you try to make the best out of it and put them to good use?

That’s a legit question, i’ve answered it yet so many times i guess one more won’t make me sick. Randoms don’t prevent our guildies to run with each others, no, but they actually harm our gameplay and people should know why at this point.
First of all, we can’t buff swiftness on everyone and since boons arent guild/party prioritized, when people start following us, some guildies will start losing swiftness, making us slower, weaker and an easier target. Speed is one of our main strenght, losing it makes us predictable and easier to fight.
Second, downed system. It happened so many times i can’t even think about it, (even with people who said “do you think i’m going to die?” in say chat, after being asked not to follow for this reason) randoms followers pushing a zerg with us, we down almost all of our enemies and the poor follower dies rallying all the ones we would have killed and probably leading us to a wipe if the group have big numbers. Isn’t this harming our gameplay?
Third, zerg. We don’t use commander icon for a reason (only if we’re having culling issues actually, and for short times). We blame many guilds for having the right numbers to provide good fights and still blob around with other guilds and pugs. Why should we do the same? We don’t want to have bigger numbers, what we have is enough to feel the challenge and play the way we prefer. Why this has to be a problem? I don’t get it. You want to follow someone? There are commanders. You want competitive WvW? Join a WvW guild then, it’s called Guild Wars for a reason (just one tho).

xXx it’s clear to everyone you don’t care about the server or the players in Gandara and are only in this tier for the fights you can get. No problem with that, we can all choose how we want to play. If people want to follow you in rvr, they will. If you want to sit in spawn for 15mins because you can’t handle 2-3 pugs following you, that’s also you’re choice. You’re an asset to the server, nothing more, nothing less. Hell, you start throwing your rattlles out of the pram when ONE SINGLE PERSON starts following you around.

About the follower thing, read above, the rest are just lies. We’re not siegers, but that doesn’t mean we don’t help our server. We always come to help if called, always help commanders and guilds in trouble if we can. Many commanders usually love to have us around, just in case they need help, so what you’re saying is totally invalid. We usually care about Gandara’s community and we actually came back before paid transfers just because we love many people we got to know here. I don’t see why “caring” about people and servers should mean playing the game wrong, or in a way we wouldn’t enjoy. It’s you guys, preventing us from playing the way we would like to, really harming Gandara’s results. Why we should “care” about you while you don’t “care” about us? Don’t need an answer, rhetorical question.

We enjoyed the later end of the evening, fighting against you in open ground. We had spent a fair bit of time trying to lure you out with out the other guilds, and without you hiding behind houses to jump us. Unfortunately that didn’t work until later! Stop hiding behind houses! We want proper fights, not assassination attempts! But you did give us something to think about, we became a lot more alert throughout the evening.

That being said, on the even field where the initiative was much more neutral, we had some of the best action we’ve seen in weeks. It gave us a kick as to how much form we lost in the boredom of tier 2, and rest assured we will be back on our A game soon enough.

A big thank you to all of the Gandaran borderlands forces last night, your badges were a welcome addition to the pointlessly huge amount of bank space I’ve lost to them, and every repair bill came with a memory of a good fight.

We clearly can’t understand your choices. Many of us are disappointed. Could you please explain your reasons not to insert the ascended version of exotic gear we built our characters with?

As a support staff Elementalist i agree with many of you guys, there’s something just wrong with Ascended gear. Why give “zerker” people even more damage, and don’t give us a way to counter it? Seems like Anet wants WvW fights to last no more than 30 secs, just mindless spike damage and no support builds to avoid being bursted down to the ground. I am a WvW player and i really can’t understand how they want us to play, i love to keep my guildies alive a little longer against bigger numbers, but again it seems like Anet just want everyone to join the brainless zerg. I really hope A DEV COULD SHOW UP AND ANSWER THIS, because apparently we can’t find a good reason to leave cleric gear out of ascended.

This is sadly exactly why they won’t ever make badges useful. They have been mostly useless for this long so everyone has a ton of them. Anything good they add is just like automatically giving most WvWers the items(s).

Is this our problem? They didn’t give us something useful, so we can just throw away the only reward we’ve got in months of WvW playing? Don’t we deserve it? “Nope, you better throw away 4k badges and free some space in your bank!”

To all Far Shiverpeaks people, we just want you to know that yesterday night [XxX] transfered back to Gandara before the incoming paid transfer. We had lot of fun playing alongside with you guys and it has been a week of awesome fights! Thanks to all the one involved and to all Fsp guys who welcomed us this week.
