Not mad. Using ascended materials to make an exotic weapon is kind dumb imo though.

Unfortunately, this is not a bug. Players from different regions cannot join each the same instances.

I’m having that issue too. If I’m not in full screen mode then my gw window freezes for a few seconds instead.

I think it is because you buy 2 skills for each utility, have you considered trying it o elites?

Mm I guess that kinda makes sense. My engineer isn’t high enough to buy those yet. I will when I get there

I don’t know why, but every time I buy an engineer skill for my Engineer, my screen freezes up for a few seconds before registering that I bought the skill. . If I buy a culture skill my screen doesn’t freeze. I have played 6 different professions (not including my engineer) and have not had any problems with my screen freezing up on me after purchasing skills. It is only the engineer skills that cause my screen to freeze.

You could make both a Warrior and a Ranger.
Your account comes with 5 character slots from which you can make any of the classes and races. As far as weapons go, try them all out for a while. You may find that you actually like an using dual Axes the most on a Warrior and a Greatsword on a Ranger. Even though there are only two weapons swaps, it does not limit you to what and how many weapons you can use.

The only weapon limit is based on class of a character. For example; Ranger cannot use a staff or scepter where a Mesmer can’t use short or long bow, etc.

As far as sPvP goes I can’t help you there since I’m not a pvp player. But I’m sure someone else can answer that question for you

I would love that to have a Festival Hats/Clothes NPC.
It would make me so happy if I could throw away the extra hats that I have without them being gone forever, then be able buy them back whenever I want to wear them again.

I do agree that there should be some way someone else can become leader if the current leader(s) are not active at all or even if the leader is never repping the guild.

Maybe Anet could somehow have a system kind of like GW1 had. If the leader isn’t one for X amount of days/month(s) then the most active person in a rank under the guild leader (that is representing the guild) becomes the leader. If the people in that rank are not active, then someone in the rank below that ect.

I’m not really sure how well even that would work with GW2 since some guilds have multiple leaders in them (I’m in one with 4 GLs!). But it would be nice if something could be done.

Sometimes when I try whisper someone I can’t. I am positive it is not because I am being blocked by that person. It can be a person I don’t know or a friend that I chat with almost every time both of us are online.

I will click on a persons name in a chat and the Whisper Channel will not come up.

Then I try to right click their name and select Whisper. The Whisper channel does not pop up when I do that either.

Finally I manually change my channel to Whisper, type the character name of the person I want to whisper, then type out my message. But, when I “send” my message, it does not send it.

Sometimes after several minutes the name I selected will pop up in the whisper channel or the message I tried to send a person finally goes through. It can be kind of annoying if I have Whispered a guildie or a friend seeing if they want to do a dungeon with me and get a reply about 10+ minutes later after I’ve already started into the dungeon because the message did not go through when I first sent it.

I don’t know if there is anyone else that has had this problem or is it just my account being weird.

Most of my suggestions come from things GW1 has that would be nice for GW2 to also have.

Make Overflows into Districts – Rather than sticking people into Overflows , why not implement districts, like GW1 had? I do not enjoy having to join a party of one of my friends then, “Join in Lions Arch” to be in the same Overflow as they are. If there were districts (or if each Overflow had a number) my friends could just tell me which one they were in, rather than having me join their party and “hop” Overflows.

Festival Hats Keeper/Maker – I have found that I have several different hats that I like to stick on my different characters, but I don’t have enough room to store them all. A Festival Hats Keeper would be nice so that could have my hats saved, then I could just throw them away rather than have a ton of hats taking up my much needed storage space. If I wanted to get a specific hat that I just got rid of, I could just talk to the Festival Hats Maker and voila! I’d have the hat again. Costume Maker would also be nice to have.

More Collection Item Slots – I went to store my very first Glob of Ectoplasm into my collections only to find that it did not have a slot to be put into. Why?? I would very much like to be able to store my Onyx Silvers, Destroyer Fragments, Charged Orbs, Obsidian Shards and Globs of Ectoplasm into my collections instead of stuffing my bank and inventory full till I have no more room to store anything else/more. So, more Collection Item Slots for materials please.

Trading Post Preview – I know that this has been brought up a ton. Being able to preview what an item looks like in the TP would be very nice. I would like to see how an item looks before I buy it (unless it is something like a material, ingredient, etc).

Message of the Day – In GW1, every time you logged on, the current guild message would show up in your chat (if you were in a guild). The guild I am in (I am sure other guilds do this too), use the Message of the Day to update members on information and events that have or will take place in the guild. I have found that there are a lot of members in my guild that either don’t know about the Message of the Day, or don’t think to hit G to check it. I think that if the Message of the Day would pop up in the chat (of the Guild they are representing), like it did in GW1, more members would be aware of what is new in their guild.

TL;DR

• Give Overflows numbers to make it easier for groups of people to get together in the same overflow.

• Have Festival Hats/Costume Makers for saving hats/costumes so that you can destroy them and be able to remake them.

• Add more Collection slots so that people can store Rare Materials such as Ectos.

• Make Item Previewing available in the TP

• Put Message of the Day from the guild a person represents into chat when they log on so that they won’t miss it.

English is not my strong subject, so I hope that everything I wrote makes sense.
