I don’t need compensate talents changes, I need compensate the fact that rabid based build take 10 more time to destroy objects than any other build with power. I need to compensate the fact a build based on proc on crit won’t work very well on boss. I also need to warn against a gameplay change that will make power more interesting than toughness.
We will see what in the end ? One trait is becoming useless cause there is no more use for it ? Or maybe with another weapon (since staff need CD), which one ? oh… wait

No it is not, otherwise I will not open these thread. But the change I request does not affect what you plan, right ?

Yes i have it, my template is 0-25-25-0-20 (with V X V X V VII)
So I won’t have an additional bounce.
I’ve checked for Confusing Combatants I’m not sure it’s a buff… 4 secondes on 3 targets when a clone die VS 3 secondes on 1 target when crit (33% chance)… no, look like a nerf to me (in most situation).
I try to do some math, but i’m not really good at this : auto attack with staff is 3/4 sec so with the char + 3 clones will should have 4/0.75 = 5.33 hit seconde. With 50% crit chance, that mean 5.33 /2 *33% = 0.88… less than 1 stack par seconde… if all the clones are up.

TyPin, i have to disagree with your arguments. For confusion on critical hit there was a similar trait (confusing combatants).
Yes, conditions are buffed, but if you need this particular trait it’s because you have thoughness, and so don’t have power (or you did something wrong in the build).
Peoples who have rampager or sinister will be able to swicht on this template right away, but original users will have to change stuff ? No
Edit : very interesting build

Is Chaotic Dampening important for this build ? In my thread, I suggested to switch Bountiful Disillusionment with Chaotic Dampening.
So your choice could become : Master of Manipulation, Bountiful Disillusionment, Chaotic Interruption. Are we sharing the same interest ?
I change the title to make it more relevant. And, since a build staff/condition damage is not common, I should explain what’s going on exactly.
This build don’t relies on shatter or phantasm like other mesmer, but on clones management. The more clones you can keep the more conditions you can stack, and the less you will be hit.
Actually, and since the release, you have to go in chaos and illusion for cool down bonus, chaos and dueling for condition dmg bonus. So there is no room for domination and power bonus. That mean you have to relies on three stats : condition damage, critical chance and toughness. So actually this build can only work with rabid/ferratus equipment.
Today, not only I defend the equipment I invested in, but also a part of mesmer’s gameplay. This is a legit demand, trust me on that, but even if I try to change something, I don’t want to make enemies, so please, even if you don’t play this build, just say here this change won’t affect on your build.

I don’t get it… I play a condition damages build with the staff since the beginning, and i wonder why Chaos Transference [V] and Chaos Dampening [VI] are on the same tier.
Both of them are a must have and there is nothing I find interesting enough in the next tier for this build. I hope devs will switch [VI] and [IX]… Bountiful Disillusionment should work great with Chaotic Interruption btw.
