Believe it or not, there are servers who simply don’t want to rely on US guilds to take them to a higher tier. Some servers want to get there by their own strength, organization and community. In my eyes –personal opinion– you guys took the easy way out. I don’t blame RUIN. For them it is an experiment. In fact, I believe they will leave sooner or later, leaving behind a devastated server not fit for T1–3.

The worst is: after having seen your dedication in a previous matchup, I think Desolation could have been a T1 server on it’s own. I feel sorry for the players that are left in the shadow.

Yes! And we should all speak english because America speaks english. But wait! Shouldn’t we call it american then? That would make so many problems, like, disappear and stuff!

I got to admit though, it is pretty funny to start a post where you are calling people arrogant while claiming that the other server only beat you because people were going easy on them….

Haha, yeah. In my defense: I didn’t make that up, it’s what they told us. And having experienced some ridiculous deaths by 50 invisible enemies I tend to believe that
I remember one time, when we defended Shadaran against desolation in the outer ring and they just ran past you guys to the northern inner gate and sneaked it! We never even saw that until it was to late

Desolation does have an incredible fighting spirit and you do deserve to be in T1. I guess it’s just the fact that many seem to forget that without RUIN they would have it as hard as we have.

Thank you for all the praise regarding our dedication. Our night shift does a good job of securing some points for us even against all odds.
Most of us see the week as some kind of training for tactical play. Halloween does get in the way of that, though.

As a matter of fact I remember SFR sparing you for revenge against Kodash, too. And seeing the evolution of scores from the current matchup with you guys I have to say: It doesn’t look like you’d dominate anyone without RUIN. The match would’ve been pretty close!

I think it’s great that the US guilds are looking at the EU because the competition is better over here. The problem with RUIN is simply their size which overshadows any other guild on Desolation.

What gets on my nerves though is the arrogance of the players outside of RUIN who deny that their victory is foremost because of the Off-Peak-Capping and Fair-Weather PUGs riding on the winning streak. No server dominated the other 2 during EU prime time excessively but that is hard to dismiss as the deciding factor.

On another note: What happens if RUIN doesn’t find the competition they’re looking for in T1? Will they split among different servers?

I think killshot is fine. Long setup, consumes all adrenaline for maximum damage. It’s sort of a “finisher”. Also very distinctive animation: warrior kneeling down and aiming -> it’s Wall of Reflection time.

I usually die at the RUN part
I probably stay there too long so it’s my own fault. I know it is possible but not the best idea most of the time.

The hammer #5 and JI combo is soooo much fun!
Watch as they panic and run repeatedly against the wall while you dish out damage. When they do get out or the ward disappears, immediatly use #3 and then close the gap with #2. Everything not extremely tanky should be drop dead then.

Don’t teleport in the middle of the zerg, though.

Don’t know what happened yesterday evening, but it seems like some bigger Kodash guilds avoid playing wvwvw (maybe invisible matter??).
We had no queue last evening.
Some Randoms without commander were playing only.
Sorry for that – hopefully this will change today, so that we have some more exciting battles during the next days.

I’m getting anything between 5–30fps on low to medium settings at 1680×1050.
My experience is pretty much the same as most peoples here.

This little App is a pretty good workaround. You can set up software profiles and which mode the keys should use!

Just tried it, runs pretty smooth on my Mid 2010 MBP. Drops 5-10fps in comparison to bootcamp.

The only thing bugging me right now is the lack of F1-F4 functionality due to OSX functions overwriting them. Furthermore the standard weapon swap key and the cmd-key don’t work.

Oh, and the lack of a zoom with my beloved Magic Mouse. But oh well, it’s not a gaming mouse.
