Update on the professions we need in WvW.
We are currently looking for backliners such as eles and necros, a few mesmers would be a lovely addition too.
We are also looking for warriors to join our frontline heavies, as we have mostly guardians.
The guild is steadily growing, and we look forward to meeting new guildies!

SoS 3.0 - No NA/Ocx Guilds needed

Hi all! This is just an updated version of Team Shatter [TS] contacts if you ever want to communicate with us.
In-game contacts: Nasynne (guild leader), andy.8035, Roosters Inc, Nasdy Rat, Behbz, Soul Eater Not

We have been based in SoS ever since GW2 started and we never have nor will we ever abandon SoS because of it’s uniquely friendly community.
Team Shatter’s demographics are mainly made up of oceanics, with some SEA and NA players. We normally field 15-20 on an organised WvW raid night, but we can also be often seen running in a party of 5 creating havoc and serving as suicide groups on our low populous nights! Our guild motto is “go balls deep and never pull out!”. That is the attitude we bring to WvW. To me, death is also a strategy :P

We are not a hard-core WvW guild though it is an integral part of our activities. On our weekend guild missions, we usually field about 20-30 members out of a 200 strong base. We are also currently seeking new members to rebuild our guild to the glory it was before. At the end of the day, having fun is what it’s all about, and we hope you feel that way in Team Shatter. When we’re not in WvW, we swag out in PvE land and host crazy events like our own Amazing Race, hide’n’seek games etc! We also use both our guild TeamSpeak 3 and the server teamspeak (for WvW).

Our commanders are a far way off from the likes of CNB, RX and FANG, but we will always be happy to coordinate and tag-up when needed, so please don’t hesitate to give us a shout!

Just wanted to make a shout out to AVTR on FA borderlands. You defended bay well. Also noticed that the small ops groups from both FA and TC are all so tanky! Had some very good long fights that really tests your skills. One wrong push on a skill button, and you know you’re dead!

Seems like SoS still has an incredible oceanic coverage during weekdays. We’re at 340ppt just now!

I was the one lying right beside (on the left) where you were standing. At least I got the farthest :P All I could see as I ran in with my stability, condition removal and damage reduction, and double dodge-roll was AOE, AOE, AOE! CONFUSION, CONFUSION, CONFUSION! We had quite a few militia with us, hence it took a few tries to try and tell them to push in together. This is where SoS needs to work on the most imo: staying tight on the commander and responding to his commands the second he requests for it. Not saying anything bad about militia either, I know some are just fantastic whom never bothered to join a guild! But here’s the main difference in general with joining a wvw guild: allows better communication and coordination

SoS is an oceanic server first and foremost. We got to tier one because we got an influx of NA guilds and one amazingly good EU guild. When they all left… back down the tiers
we went. But we will always have a strong Oceanic coverage.

This has been a great fight so far. I don’t mind dropping bags everywhere because at times I’m picking them up just as much.

Yeah I know we are still mainly oceanic. I’ve been on SoS since day 1, and we did lose a few oceanic guilds over the times, though not a whole lot.
We did reach 420ppt at one point yes, my memory went a bit haywire.

I am loving this forum! And also loving this matchup! Our guild has not been so involved and excited about WvW for a while since months of T4 PvDoor. This new match-up has allowed us to re-train ourselves and practice those special tactics we had used for Tier 1 back in the days. Awesome to see that TC and FA are enjoying our company. Though it hurts to be mowed down by a zerg twice our size, I would never hesitate to run in again when the opportunity shows. The odd reversal of when we actually survive and dang dem lootbags is also, oh so sexy!

Good job TC sieging up Hills on SoS BL with ac’s like a boss today. We eventually took it after humpteen attempts at taking them down.

Some gamers are rather hostile while zerging in Straits of Devastation?

That’s great to hear LaterGator, so perhaps it’s just my server, which I would not name and shame lol. I too admit that zerging is an efficient way, but again, I re-iterate, it shouldn’t dictate how other players should play and we shouldn’t be hostile towards people who don’t join zergs. It’s their freedom and right to do so, if you wanna talk about it then please don’t use the general map chat. Flaming is a netiquette no one appreciates

I just wanted to post something which I found rather discouraging today while playing in the Straits of Devastation map. While I understand the nature of a zerg is a large group of people running together and completing events to “share” the rewards, it shouldn’t dominate the way gamers choose to play in that world. Recent chats on the general map chat showed people flaming each other about whether they should be in a zerg or not, and even as to laugh at people dying because they’re not in a zerg? I find that not be to be of very nice “gamesmanship” as would call it. Since when did a free-world game come with such hypocrisy and narcism? No gamers should have to endure such hostility, unless they were deliberately trolling in the game. I don’t know what all you other gamers think about this?

Yes for me the NPC for the Bore Lynch Skill point in Frostgorge Sound has been missing as well. And considering the first post is almost two weeks ago, I hope I don’t have to wait just as long for it to be fixed :S

Server is Sea of Sorrows
