Lets not turn this into a Java bash thread pls, he brought up some good points about rally bugs and l2p issues. Java is a great player, arguably one of the most skilled players in the game. Hes a good guy for going on and representing our NA community in front of so many people and the devs. I guarantee most of us would be extremely intimidated to be in that position.

I disagree, i think solo queuers should have separate ladder/ranking to be able to compete even if they dont want to or cant compete with 5 man team. Rewards should be ladder ranking advancement ( for won matches only) + glory with large glory bonus for winning team to incentivize team play.

Well its like this, if u get a kitten team (not ur fault) or ur experimenting and u lose, well u shouldn’t be penalized. and where is the carefree game mode for people who just want to chill, if everything is rating based then i lose that .maybe have ranked soloq and unranked orsomthing

well its only bad in its current climate….. wWhen (i say when not if) this game get popular and lalot of people start doing tournies, then u can afford to split the pop up because matches will still be happening on a regular pace

In theory it works, only if the people who joined as 5 will play against people who joined as 5…… but this is splitting the player base even more and realy u can’t afford that in the current state. just keep things simple and then expand into testing out new stuff

my theory is that anet has creating this debate on solo q so they can get ideas on what to do….I am on to you Jonathan sharp….its a conspiracy i tell you!!!!!!

But solo q ONLY tournie with match making, should replace hotjoin.

Frankly hotjoin is a jk, bunch of half asleap rank 40s and ranks 4s zerging around, now with solo q tournie this will not only allow the more experienced players a quick and fun way to get abit of game time, but also teach the new players the game in tournie setting, which is what this game is about.

What they should do is keep the 1v1 system for the majority of the week, and then add the 3 round tournies for the weekend only, maybe have QPs entry requirement for it, and give awsome mega rewards at the end of the 3 round system!!

Well, I have been searching YouTube high and low for good YouTubers and have found them few and far between.What I want to do is to create a list of good YouTube’s for all aspects of GW2.
This will allow people searching for GW2 video, an easy way to find them, giving the people making the content much more viewership and hopefully the drive to continue making more videos to help promote GW2 (God do we need it).
