Going through story mode on two different characters, and none of the companion NPCs engage in combat unless something attacks them first.

Adnul Irongut may not be “Broken” but he is feels “Unbalanced” and is very “Un-fun”

I’m getting this achievement. When I finally beat him, I won’t feel a sense of accomplishment, I’ll only remember my opinion on how poorly this was implemented, which affects my opinion on ArenaNet as a game developer. (Full disclosure, it makes me question how long i am going to play this, and hesitant about spending money on gems.)

(Extra full disclosure.. I’ll get over it(eventually(maybe)))

I doubt you’ll be phased, in the grand scheme, it’s one thing that’s busted in a wide world of “working fine” video game.

Still, I would consider changing the mechanics. (Maybe limit their special to 1 cast, or increasing how many times we can use ours.)

… Or nerf this guy.

relog. it shows up.

All complete, relogged and did not fix issues. I was missing the Halloween Events (5/10) after I finished Attend the Party. Went and finished those up but did not get Emissary.

event See the Pact crash survivors safely to Meddler’s Summit.

descriptive currently standing next to Pilot Ripsky, who is just hanging out on the stairs due west of Telmat Knoll. I’ve had him killed by kiting enemies. Per the event “Pact survivors on their feet: 7”

I have seen other threads that have gotten the answer “We’re working on it” which is great, and there’s plenty of stuff going on right now.. halloween early launch etc.

Can we get a server reset to fix the problem?
Can we get some band-aid way of resetting the event chain?

I had this bug.. this is how I got past it.

First buggy spot: defending the dock.

solution: Make sure you are right next to traherne, on the dock, when the last mob is killed. There are two ramps at the center of the dock that lead into the water. If the last mob killed is on the left, it will make the cutscene work. (Attempted it with right and it didn’t)

buggy spot #2: retaking the docks
Issue: If you die, this will break. (I died on the stairs, and restarted from checkpoint, the NPC friendlies just patrol the inner courtyard while the dock mobs continually repsawn.) Do not die in this part, at least until the next cutscene, preferrably not ever.

If something breaks for you, just swim out to the red stripey area.
It took me 5 attempts to get everything to work, it appears the docks are what bugs out everything.

If you find you are stuck, or either of these cutscenes don’t work, just swim out of bounds and start over. It took me 5 attempts to finally get through.

To add more, had my experience survivor at around 46k, decided to give it a go and worked without dying. After I assume surpassing my previous total, the monthly started rolling again and I could follow the track.

Disconnected, relogged in, total showed 98,987. Went to finish it off and new experience didn’t register. Earned about 9k over the required amount just to make sure.. did not get achievement. (I leveled after relog, never died)

This is frustrating, can we see a fix on this soon? Thanks!
