It would be a great addition to the Guild menu in-game if there were a Calendar (an Upgrade?) where Guild members could post an event… say post an event for a difficult boss at lvl20, and then have options for replying, rsvp, details … so that anyone in the Guild could check the Calendar and see if there were something interesting to do. Also post official Guild Events in red or something. I’m sure the excellent devs of GW2 could do this, and I would really like to see it. Probably make the entire game much more popular too.
I’m in the game! So, here’s what I remember . AMD Overdrive On, Graphics Overdrive On, 3D settings to application or performance. BcdEdit fix on (/set nx AlwaysOff) disables DEP, thew 2 hotfixes mentioned in the forums as well, Win 7 Home Premium. Oh, and lest I forget → Wait For Vertical Refresh On! and GL Buffer On.
I think the vertical refresh isn’t even set on in the game… all this in AMD Catalyst yada yada. Hope that helps.
thanks bro ill keep trying
tried auto-detect … first it said all high, now it is low/med mixed. // only thing i can think of is 3d… all set to application settings
So, how do I get this game to work? I have a setup to play Supreme Commander FA with no problems, 8 players, huge maps… that is usually a pretty good test.
When I play GW2 I see like half of the post-processing and freeze… reset driver… 10 seconds later freeze, reset driver… out of game, but windows thinks it is still in the game so I have to alt-tab out … pretty frustrating since I spent all day today with this,. tried every hotfix, registry edit, and everything else I could find searching around but no luck… every time the necro starts emanating waves, … freeze, reset driver etc.
