Hello,
I can tell you when I first started to play this game I was running an AMD processor… and I forget the GPU… I always experienced low frames in GW2, never knew why. Some time later I bought the GTX 980 (When it was the hot card to have) and noticed I gained very little FPS… I finally caved in and got a i7 (way overkill for GW2 but I do use my PC for other things) and my frames JUMPED… With that being said I feel the Ryzen CPU has greatly closed the gap in performance and you should see decent frames… If you can get your hands on a Ryzen 5 instead that would really help your cause… Also WvW is very demanding and expending a budget machine to push that kind of Frames is unrealistic, but even at lower 30-60 FPS in WvW zerg it’ll still be playable.
hmmm, i didn’t do to well with D/D build for pve I generally did S/P and when i started to get more into pvp i went P/D i found myself able to take on multiple enemies and stand a chance lol. But the others are right. learning the game through pve would be ur best rout. that way you can get a feel on how to play and what style really suits you. when i started i wanted to be D/D but as i played on i ended up going P/D lol. just play the game and try differnt things out.
< Ill just leave this here :P
Well, P/D seems to work well for me in WvW sPVP and PvE. The only problem that I find with it is the fact thakittens a condition build and things like rocks don’t bleed haha. Obviously that isn’t a big deal, it’s just going to take a bit longer to kill those pesky doors and such. But Kabuki is right you need to spend some time to figure out a good middle ground in what you want to do. so messing around in the mists might be your best bet.
I’ve been wanting to make more pvp videos from guild wars but just been to lazy. Id appreciate if you guys would take a look at it and tell me what you think. Not trying to make anything awesome just fun videos to watch xP. So yeah i dont claim to be any good at pvp either xP
