Hello GW2 GMs/Developers~ May I suggest for the FoTM merchants, to include the possibility of exchanging an example: A mighty +9 infusion for a malign/or other +9 infusion.

I believe that some players might have bought a couple of +9 Mighty (power) infusions for their characters. And maybe they would like to continue using them on their other characters who are doing condi or maybe a tank. It would really really be great if we can exchange our existing Mighty +9 Infusions for others (such as Malign +9, Healing +9, etc).

As the +9 infusions cannot be sold in Black Lion Trading Posts, it is really a waste if we no longer want to play that character anymore. It would be great if we can just pay a small penalty of perhaps fractal relics or pristine fractal relics to exchange for another type of +9 infusion.

Please do take some time to think about this suggestion, I really think it would benefit a lot of players and “make them happy” if this would get implemented in the near future patches. Thank you for spending time to read this!

Sorry if this seems to be a stupid question, because I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere on the Internet.

1) the exotic fractal back piece, upon using the mystic forge to upgrade, will become ascended with 1 unused infusion slot?

2) if I were to infused the ascended backpiece with a fine precise infusion (+5 precision +5 agony resist), will the backpiece still be able to upgrade to the next tier (Beta Fractal Capacitor (Infused)) after I’ve found the 250 ectos?

3) if upgrade is possible, will I lose my fine precise infusion (+5 precision +5 agony resist) after the backpiece is upgraded into the (Beta Fractal Capacitor (Infused))? Or will it become +10 agony resist with +5 precision and the infusion slot has become used instead of unused?
