I completely agree. Requiring crafting is completely against their core “ideals of accessibility.” I should be able to play how I want and not be denied any important parts of the game – ie: Ascended items.
That being said, I’m absolutely ok farming for items; therefore, Araris gives a great suggestion – something that I’ve heard worked really well in EQ2 – why not here?
It is kind of sad that I am surprised when a stranger initiates conversation during the game. It is really rare.
I think the features Araris proposes might be a good way to keep people engaged in the game without changing the original concept of GW2. Any way to build a stronger community is a plus and would most likely keep people invested and playing. You shouldn’t be able to reach level 80 without ever having to interact with another human being.
I would buy a Quaggan plushie…..no matter what it costs. Make these! (And please send it to me with a Bow like in the Wintersday jumping puzzle, k thanks!)
It doesn’t look like a normal chest – it will be on the right hand side of the screen as soon as the children appear. It looks like………a pocket watch I think.
First of all, I am brand new to gaming – this is my first MMO.
The Mad King’s Clock Tower took me about…..5 hours of work to actually complete. Sad but true. Once I got used to it, it was my favorite part of the Halloween event.
….I completed the Wintersday jumping puzzle in 3 tries. Although graphically, it’s one of the most amazing things ever (love the look & feel), it is far far too easy. I was really disappointed because I loved the challenge.
I agree. I would definitely enjoy WvW if there was a stronger sense of community and friendly competition. It’s incredibly boring to feel like I’m simply killing NPCs all day.
