I’ve heard that the community in SBI is excellent, but the roaming potential seems obscure. The opposite is true for FC. I’d like more confirmation on one’s experience roaming in SBI.

Isn’t it also true that the chance of me being rolled over by a large zerg would be higher if I were to join SBI?

Winning gives me a sense of pride for my server, but I also have developed a prejudice for zerging. Being in a zerg makes me feel as if I’ve lost my individuality and skill. By all means, I am not a great roamer. I am still learning the ropes. I prefer a balance between both hard and moderately easy fights.

Hello! I would like to thank your wonderful soul for clicking on this thread. Let me introduce myself: I am a proficient pve’er (usually dungeons) and wvw roamer who is currently in SF. The two servers I am weighing the scales on are FC and SBI. I find roaming to be extremely fun, but the road is often lonely and the fights are sadly sub-par.
Decent organization and friendliness also come into play in regards to pve. I wish to evaluate said servers with unbiased reasons as to whether I should transfer/avoid either server. If you believe that I would have better luck in another server, feel free to type what’s on your mind. Thank you for your time.

This is my current build. Switching to Stand your Ground for combat.

It survives well with it’s 19k health, Multiple Strategic Blocks, 3500 Armor, 2 stun breaks.

It supports well with condition removal, swiftness buffing (Retreat + Shield of Wrath in lightning fields), Stability, Protection/Regen.

It deals decent damage. While not zerker mode, the 3227 Power with 32% crit is not too bad.

I’ve grown weary of the classic support guardian and wanted to opt more towards dps without being completely overwhelmed by attacks when roaming in wvw. I tried to create a well-rounded guardian with three main intentions:
1- Do good dps
2- Rip the word “condition” from the user’s vocabulary
2- Unconsciously support teammates

Can any of you guys provide me with some cool mix and matches of armors that would produce a cool medic look for my human female ranger?

I’ve never overclocked a CPU before. Will that really help with my fps? Also, here are the settings I generally roll with. I usually switch to best performance in populated instances though :/. I want to change that.

Every system requirements program has told me that my PC could easily handle GW2 on high settings, but that, currently, is not the case. Turing auto-detect on grants me roughly anywhere from 20-38 FPS, which, In my personal opinion, is just not cutting it. I have switched my graphics settings to best performance and turned render sampling to native which granted me 38-55 FPS (low-mid 30’s in decently crowded areas). It’s just not what I expected. I’m looking for good suggestions. Changing my hardware is out of the question. Thanks in advance.
