My initial understanding when reading the patch notes regarding the login rewards was that, for whatever technical reason, folks who hadn’t been online for that stated timeframe would be lucky enough to get the 1st daily login reward early (right after patch), and then folks who had been playing in that pre-patch timeframe would then get their 1st daily login reward after the daily reset, where then the players who had received their 1st reward early would then NOT get another upon that reset, so all players would be on the same footing from then on out.

Apparently I (and many others) misunderstood. I would have stayed away from the game for a day if I had known it would perpetually put me behind in this new rewards system.

My S.O. is definitely a day ahead of me in regards to rewards, and has been since the main patch on the 16th. Bit frustrating to say the least.

No. 3 on the Rules of Conduct states:

“You may not create character names or otherwise transmit, post, link to or facilitate the distribution of any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, infringing, obscene, hateful, vulgar, racially or ethnically offensive, invasive of personal privacy or publicity rights, or objectionable in a reasonable person’s view imagery or content.”

Now, while I don’t understand the very last part of that sentence (“imagery or content” needing to be moved to after “objectionable” perhaps?) I’d like to think of myself as a pretty reasonable person, and while I can see that the name is obviously a play on words (in whatever way it was originally meant to be), I just don’t see how it could be deemed any of those things listed above.

I mean, really, the e-jargon ‘pwn’ ruffles someone’s feathers but running around slaughtering countless people and all manner of animals through means of giant chainsaw blades and literally lighting them on fire is somehow inoffensive?

Seems a bit silly :/
