Guild Wars 2

Could use some help making a good P/S build for both pve/wvw if possible. Im not asking for an OP build just a useful build thats uses P/S.

Just extra info I already have a full Sinister set for P/P and Sinister/Celes with Rifle, so I dont need P/P and Rifle builds. I just want a cool P/S build.

Sup everyone was hoping for some good news, but I guess WvW really bad right now to come back even with the Expansion. I only wanted the Expansion for Elite Specs and the new Class Rev but meh not worth it, dont care much bout the new pve maps.

I probably try patching my game just to see WvW without the Expac, but still seem like a waste of time.

But thks everyone for the info guess Im saving my money for Black Desert since that game went Buy to Play for NA players, sigh even more bad news for me.

Hey guys, returning player here, just wanna know if WvW still have an active community that I can come back to in Gw2 or did the new Expansion with the New BL maps make WvW worse?

Been reading the threads in the forums, seems alot hated the New Maps and everybody just stack in EBG to even have some fun, also saw some “WvW Overhaul” threads that makes servers pointless with a Feature called “Factions/Alliance”? Not sure if true, just some threads I keep seeing.

Havent played since Sept, but thinking on buying the Expansion but I dont wanna come back if WvW is empty. Just want some cold hard facts if WvW still have people playing.

If its helps, Im from a T3 server playing timezone NA/OcX, if anyone can tell me if theres fights during those timezones.

Like seriously with all this frequent patches this few days they could at least fix an old bug, which legendary weapons Predator and Quip don’t have their special effect grenades anymore.

I know its not important to most players and its just a cosmetic bug so its not important compare to game breaking bugs, but I miss Plasma grenades and Confetti grenades.

According to the article showing the 3 Hammer skills, not of them do condie dmg. Which Im fine with but I thought Hammer will have like 1 skill, like the Rifle skill 3, that will drop high base dmg with short duration condie and high intensity condie.

The Rocket Charge sounds like it can do burning dmg, but its just multi leap finishers which I can see u can combo with Thunderclap to do finishers. Also its weird to block attacks with a hammer, kinda a wasted skill slot for me but will see at fri if its usefull.

Sidenote: Really 3 pages of complaining bout the Elite Spec name Scrapper? Useful info for the devs guys

Hey guys first off, thank you all for your answers, but I was able to fix my problem. So yeah its apparently a weird server clutter which happen sometimes to people, and u have to fix by using a “-assetsrv” command to fix it.

So yeah thank your Healix.5819 for telling me about it. I have to find the steps in GW2 websites to learn it.

So its actually my internet the reason its slow, not the new players downloading? Ok I guess, but this never happen before so I guess unlucky day.

I don’t mind the slow update but the constant “Connection Broken, Retrying” is getting annoying and having to close and restart the download again, its seem to reset all my progress in downloading when it happen, is progress being save when Connection Broken? and is there any fix to this?

Ever since GW2 become F2p, downloading the latest patch become really slow and crash every time. Usually i get over 200kb speed but right now i get only 20kb and drop to 0 for no reason then all of sudden “Connection Broken, Retrying”.

I try resetting my router and even getting my roommates to not use the wifi, so i have the internet to myself, but its still slow and crashing.

I saw 2 forum posts saying its cuz game going F2p makes its slow cuz many people are downloading it, so its the Game server side not ours, but I just wanna double check. Is it my internet or Anet side the reason my game cant finish updating.
