I play as a banner warrior, kind of a habit of mine since playing the Captain Class in LOTRO (kitten I miss my Captain sometimes…), it’s fun until newbies decide to pick up the banners and smack the boss with them… and who gets blamed….. the guy dropping the banners, come on guys.
But still WvWvW is great as a banner warrior people like to pick up your banners after a fight just for the swiftness buff so if anything at least people appreciate the extra speed after a fight. Only been called a newb for not rolling with cookie cutter build twice so all is well.
I just find it funny ANET believes 3 Stacks of Bleed == 3 stacks of Vuln
heh, agreed. my main Guardian has like.. 7 – 8 sets of armor already. :///
so i started and leveled a 2nd Guardian working on 2nd set for him now haha.le sigh.

healing ratios dont scale, you dont need vit, and they’re removing magic find on armour

Remove current #3 and add fireworks with no cooldown.
Since #3 is so useless due to the long cooldown, how about this change? At least we have a cheerful death.

Or at least speed up the projectile speed on the grapple line so I can actually hit people with it… If it was intended to save other downed players it would be nice if it actually hit.
I hope a new melee kit, or new weapon like a hammer or something like that. Or a new stealth skill. Anyboby knows when it comes out?
Sometime between now and….well the end of year.
Personally I will just be happy with just a Hammer and perhaps Explosive arrows for SB or LB.

Temporary content….meh, I only get to play casually sometimes and have missed out on a great deal of the content… it’s left me pretty disappointed… not to mention annoyed that I have all these achievements that I can now never get. It’s a shame though if I came back in a year there would be no new content…
I do hope they release packs on the gem store eventually to allow players to relive the events or even better integrate them into the world as permanent content.
Anyone running around with a two handed sword (Particularly Warriors and Guardians.) Oh unless your Asura then that’s ok.
I don’t mind the temporary content…though most of the time I don’t have the time to do it. What I would like to see though is the chance to relive a living story (Even if it had to be bought from the gem store) so those that missed out could have a chance to play it through.
I had the brilliant luck of picking this game up again the day (Was away for a month without access to the game) this finished so there’s more achieves that will sit in my hero panel unfinished….brilliant.
Could be they want a fair fight and ignore NSP seen it happen to a few small groups I been in ignored the NSP camps and went straight for ours.
The real problem here is invisible enemies. Give their algorithms time to match servers properly.

I just aoe and pray in sieges in the hopes of hitting people…but since the numbers never seem to render for me I dunno if I actually hit or miss half the time

Eve online doesn’t have this issue and it’s been using umbra since release and in that you have thousands of ships rendered and fighting in space battles without a single one being “invisible” (Unless they cloak of course).
Same issue here was playing fine then got booted and now can’t get back in.

or I get a network error or I log in to char select and then swiftly lose connection again.
um…..that already happens whoever places the siege weapon can take control of it off anyone they already get priority I do it alot with the ones I place….mostly trebs since people like to try to ninja mine.

they are recruiting to compete with HoD….it’s also why they prolly threw one of the 24hr matches so they could have a week to recruit oceanic players and be competitive with HoD the week after….course it could all be coincidence.
When I first saw this thread I thought he was gonna say spam arrow carts that counters zergs….but no it’s about buffs

^ Lol at the poster above me. Click on his name and go to his posts, all he’s doing is recruiting players from night time zones.
Also, I’m a “have”, not a have not — at least according to your logic. I think there is a problem with the game. Moreso that at the core of the game design zerging is more rewarding than it should be. Numbers already provide an inherent advantage, GW2 makes that advantage more potent through the downed state as well as AOE limitations. Not to mention, the Orb bonuses don’t compare to the relic bonuses in DAoC, and are stacked on top of the bonuses to HP you already get for WvW points. It’s just silly and squanders any competition. I don’t even enjoy beating someone in 1v1 right now. I have 23% extra hp and 150 extra of each stat. Am I supposed to feel god about that?
I could care less about the night time players, although I think that something should be done about “outmanned” servers. Why recruit “night” shift players to an already dominant server? I don’t understand. Eventually you’re not going to have no one to PvP against because they’re frustrated. We’re already having that issue with our opponents on our server. Do you find staring at the legendary gate gaurds fun?
He’s from RUIN. Of course, they were transferring to servers, recruiting people and than pulling them to their server ET to have more masses. Also when they were on the other servers they were giving fake orders so they’d run into the other RUIN members. Did you see the thread that was exposing them about it and then got deleted?
Lol I wouldn’t say fake orders they were just very bad ones and then people wondered why they knew where we were all the time…..

I’m so glad I’m not in the top bracket. I’ve never seen a queue before, and plenty of enemies for everyone(10+ per, minimum)

Well I would think auto targeting is an advantage for the opposing side since damage tends to be more spread out then if they were grouped and ctrl+t ing targets.
I liked the whole domination thing (Shiver is on what 278k points?) but you seem to be doing something other then complaining about it. tip my hat to you Fub and Kaineng. Actually might xfer myself
I like the people who buy the commander book but then do no actual commanding and stand in town using it to promote their guild/ sit afk at a WvWvW spawn point doing nothing and then complaining about how no ones leading…..
So yes I would prefer a merit based system then just a ffa or who has most gold system.
Hell I would like to see a server vote and a Overall Commander for WvWvW for each server but that would be over the top I think.
2. You won’t like this but you’re such a small part of the player base that you have no right to dictate how the game should be balanced around you. It’s just how it is.
What gives you any more of a right to play and dictate the score than oceanic players do?
They’re our servers thus the “EUROPEAN” and “AMERICAN” listings, not “Oceanic/Australian/Kiwi”. So yes, as a European playing on a European server I have every right to express my opinion on the matter and suggest they balance the game best.
We weren’t given oceanic servers, ANet obviously wanted us to play with you guys so stop crying.
You weren’t given servers because there’s too few of you to actually populate them. Face the facts here. You’re the minority and you’re causing unbalanced WvWvW making it impossible to be at all plausible for a competitive game type. Even on these forums there are many guilds recruiting Oceanic players with the intent to WvW when all other servers are offline and have even stated this outright in their recruitments. How is that fun for anyone when you outnumber two other servers 300 to their collective 100?
All I see from players like you is constant complaining over possible fixes to balance. Instead of kittening about our suggestions that will ultimately fix the situation why don’t you come up with some other solution?
You just contradicted yourself… so we ARN’T populated enough to have our own server…. but we ARE populated enough to dominate wvwvw while you are asleep…. SO you just cancelled yourself out… and basically just said, that… you can’t beat us so you don’t want to even have to try….
You’re missing out the fact that during the hours of 12am to 8am other servers that aren’t Oceanic centric have far less active players at those times because they’re asleep. So, no, i’m not contradicting myself.
You do realize the unofficial oceanic servers get owned during your day time right? You’re not happy unless you own the majority map 100% of the time?
Unless your IoJ or SoS then you own the map 0% of the time and blame ET Oceanic players for it. sorry…..RUIN players for it.

I think that it should be much simpler if you have either healed or booned someone who gets a kill you should be eligible for the loot/exp even if only at a reduced rate….a support kill so to speak.
Total +1 to this a participation reward would go far I think
No one reads chat so might as well be broken.
The zerg has a mind of it’s own no matter what anyone says and usually gravitate towards SMC even if there is no chance in taking it.
Fix to night capping: organize people on your server who play late at night to hold your territory.
It’s a much better solution than complaining and waiting for someone else to hand you something.
With Mcl on this one. Some server dominate during the night some during the day it’s how the match works no use complaining about it and if you can’t handle it there’s always sPVP.
It’s broken because points are raked up 24/7.
Between the hours of 12am to 8am WvW points should not be counted. During these hours you should not be able to upgrade your castles, towers or place spam arrow carts(SM is notorious for this) or any other type of siege bar battering rams.
Problem fixed. A competitive across the board experience.
So we Oceanic players become nothing more then people to take crap for our American comrades and leave everything else to them? can’t say I am thrilled about the idea
