I tried Stardriver.7459’s way and it worked well. If your still having problems with the quest log, try stardrivers way.

No log update after cleared beach.
Ive restarted the mission 4 times now and the quest log still wont update.
Im stuck at the end of the mission, when tonn has destroyed all of the towers and it tells me to clear the beach. After I have cleared the beach, it says ive clear the beach (with a tick)but I don’t get the next task. It has 4 times now.
