Twice now I’ve beaten the chalk creature, and get to the ‘Talk to Braham’ event in the instance, but he just stands there not responding.
I’ve beaten this on another character, and it worked fine.
Twice I’ve done this tonight on the same character, and he’s just standing, and I can no longer progress.
Thoughts or fixes?
If ArenaNet had a custom filter that worked, checking off which map styles you like to play, allowing you then to pick maps from the choices provided, I think that would be a great solution.
[ – ] Stronghold
[ – ] Skyhammer
[ – ] Conquest
[ – ] Courtyard
Just filter the ones you like, and if you like a certain type, have percentage of a chance to vote for a map.
I noticed that as well. I wonder what’s going on in the background for all this. Is it not going to be available anymore, was it just forgotten, or are they working on an issue for it? I’d like to know so if I should hold some gems for a kite or not.
I agree – a checkbox would be a wonderful option, as well for skyhammer / spiritwatch. Problem I find at times with the checkbox system right now, is that if you check stronghold with conquest, you only get stronghold.
Was thinking about running the kite with the guild emblem, use it to help recruit new members. Seems I can’t find the Kite Vendor. Is the vendor still available?

^ Wiki location, but I have yet to find them.
Seeing that guild banks have these options, I don’t think it would be that hard for account bound banks be able to do this as well.
With guilds expanding options we need to consider different options for our players. We now have guild missions, decorations, and still need to consider access for the guild bank. I don’t know if we would need 20 slots, but more would help.
I like difference in options for pvp matches. Maybe instead of removing entirely, they should consider different map options for death match?
I don’t mind skyhammer, as again, I like options. If you don’t like the map, then don’t vote for it. Going anyway? Well looks like the majority (or troll at times) won.
With the trolls, makes me wonder about the random generator for map choices. Seems that single vote get’s chosen more than often.
I constantly find myself mouse hovering to see “hero point” vs “hero point earned” which is annoying since it should be info I can easily see from a glance.
As do I, and though it only takes a moment, it still has ways it could be done faster.
Courtyard, Spirit Watch, and Skyhammer will not be included in ranked arena once the beta ladder officially starts.
I see this post in the forums from about 10 months ago.
But lately, I haven’t even seen Courtyard in show up at all. Did they officially remove it? I did like a death match option for at least one map. Little change of pace in pvp options is in my opinion a nice option.
Guess I missed the announcement if there was one…
Well from the developers side, you could see how world map competition could be a problem for those who already achieved it. If they do add more points, the question asked is to require people who have this achievement grab these new ones to obtain the achievement again, or just require those who don’t have those points yet, and make them work harder to obtain world map completion.
It would be nice to see some new points, the problem lies in within the achievement requirements.
It all depends where you stand in your progress. When in doubt, see your local guide friend Dulfy.

Considering your players, even colorblind, the icon should have a distinguished look to it then it’s original, so that they are identifiable between each other without issue.
I love the way Eidolonemesis.5640 listed the new idea for the feature. Really the transition from ‘Skill Points’ to ‘Hero Points’ doesn’t require a color change all together.
Maybe another suggestion to make it easier for the developers, leave the yellow Hero Points marked as not yet achieved, and then mark the ones obtained blue. Yellow is warmer color, and noticeable to see on a map. This way, you could see what has yet to be done a lot faster.
The Hero Point is a fine process for me, but I must say I don’t like the ending result of acquiring the point. I think it looks to similar to the point when it’s still available. The original option with Skill Points having just the outline, worked great. It was easy to notice, and once obtained, was filled in. Nice and easy to glance at while looking at the map. Now, I always have to double check if I have the point now.
Thoughts?
Looking at posts all I see are the changes to guild missions happen along with guild halls, and who knows how long that will be.
To keep ranks in check, I think this should be looked into sooner than that.
I would like to request a option, as I have not seen a way around it.
To allow people within the guild to invite people, but right now I only see that tied in with admin lower rank, which can cause issues with certain people.
Some positions people have in are guild should be allowed to invite people, as we know PvP and WvW people run into other people quite often, but should not have the ability to admin lower ranks as some people should not have this ability, even if they are a team captain of a PvP match, or a commander in the guild running WvW.
This option, if separated for guilds, would make it a whole lot easier for people running the guild and make sure issues don’t happen, and have people fight over something that should have never happened in the first place.
Just my thought, but I think it’s a good opinion. I might have missed another option in the list, but for now I see this is the only way to allow people to invite.
Started a guild with a friend, and three days later, the guild upgrades are different for half the group (6 members) in which some see upgrades with 820 influence. The rest see no upgrades with 9125 influence.
message of the day is the same for everyone, and I made a new emblem. Ideas?
