Bump ^ for the end of the week people.

Wardens of the Eternal Blade [WEB] is a small casual guild on the Darkhaven server and we are currently looking to replenish some of our ranks. Due to real life for many of our players, our normally active roster is starting to look a little inactive, so we are opening our doors in hopes of finding players who would make a good fit into our small gaming family.

Here at WEB, we are working towards creating a cohesive group of active players who play together, communicate, and just generally have a good time as we enjoy the many aspects of this game together. Our current active players are mostly over 18 yrs of age but we welcome any age group as well as any skill level as long as you are mature and respectful. We also ask that players interested in joining our guild are able to log in at least once a week to play, interact with other members, and represent at least 50% of the time.

We are a group mostly taking part in the PvE aspect of the game, including dungeon runs, fractals, world bosses, map clearing, HoT, masteries, and achievement hunting. We are also open to WvW and PvP and would like to be able to recruit a few people willing to help lead us in those activities.

During the holidays and sometimes just for fun, we hold giveaways, contests, and other special activities.

[WEB] Leadership

For kicks and giggles, I’ve been playing around with my settings in game to see if anything helps. I ended up disabling VSync and voila, no more diagonal lines at portals!

I have enabled it, yes. I don’t know if it would help to specify that it doesn’t happen all the time. Only around portals and when I view the world map.

I should probably specify that it’s like a transparent dividing line, cutting my screen in half on the diagonal.

I’ve been struggling with playing the game on my new MSI laptop that came with Win10 installed and an Nvidia GTX960M card. I think I’ve finally managed to get the game to play without freezing after a clean install of the graphics card and switching to windowed fullscreen. However, I now occasionally see a diagonal line on my screen when I play GW2. Any thoughts or suggestions on how I can remedy this? Thanks in advance!

Good to know I’m not alone. My Watchknight is missing from my storage too. I double checked and I do have the achievement…you know, just in case I was delirious or something. :/

Wardens of the Eternal Blade [WEB] is looking to grow!

We are a small guild on the Darkhaven server looking to grow our ranks and are looking for fun active players to join our family-like guild. Even though we intend to grow, we have no intention of becoming a large, conglomerate-sized guild so if that is your thing, then [WEB] is not for you. However, if you enjoy friendly chats, camaraderie, helping one another, or just having silly times, then [WEB] just may be the place for you.

In order to keep our members active within our guild, we encourage at least 50% representation. Due to GW2’s current setup with the ability to join multiple guilds, we find it unfair to require a 100% representation. We also encourage partying up for map clearing, dungeons, dailies, general mayhem, and guild communication. You never know when a member of leadership will announce a surprise giveaway! We are also starting a weekly lottery which we hope both current and prospective members will enjoy. In the future, we hope to do more guild events as our numbers grow as well as more organized WvW and PvP events.

We currently have no age restriction and welcome players of all levels and experience. We do not, however, tolerate drama, rage quitters, and people lacking basic manners. [WEB] leadership’s goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for players to enjoy the game and we reserve the right to remove players from the roster who chose to disrupt that goal.
