It is not the same WM look at the spelling. The WM from SBI was spelled “War Machine” that one is spelled “Warr Machine”. It is all a psycological play to try to brek our morale on SBI. Either way no worries no matter what is done to us it just makes us stronger which is why we were in T1 for so long against outnumbering odds until we just finally lost to many players to hold in that teir. We where holding in T1 at 3 to 1 odds and when we hit zergs 5-6 times larger than ours we wtill held. Our problem was map coverage compared to their map coverage. It is all tatics and pride and we have both.

Then the easiest solution is to spend the gold and become a commander. I also play at night time when I make it on and never see these issues that you mention. The only issues I see if is players not listening to the commanders and build siege where it is tatically wasteful or where it wastes supply that is needed later in the cappng or defend of a keep/tower.

SBI will never be finished because being finished is not in our vocabulary. At least not for the ones who have any server pride, which is a ot more more than everyone thinks.

If this is a beaten and broken SBI from people transferring off/quitting, I shudder to think of what the former SBI looked like.
How do you think we stayed in T1 for so long and won several matches?
SBI is from what I have seen been called “steelbluff isle” because we never give up and just keep pushing. Our morale is hard to break and usually the more you do to break it, being outnumbered or whatever, just make boosts it even and makes us fight that much harder. Loosing some guilds and numbers only hurt us on coveerage in certain areas and made it were we could not fully compete with the T1 servers. How T2 turns out for us at this point in unknown because of new opponents we are not sure where each servers coverage stans for the week.

I cannot say that SBI is dead. We just lack coverage. Loosing WM hurt us but we still have SF and a few other guilds that I for one think are great. How we fair in T2 is unknown but I do not think we will fall as far as T8 before we settle out.
With the way I have seen SBI be outnumbered 3 to 1 and still hold and psuh back is what makes us unique. This will be what makes us. I have noticed a lot of new players in WvW not doing what commanders say and attacking stuff they should not be giving our location away. Moving to a lower tier to tech and learn will be good for us, let take advantage of it and rebuild only to come back stronger than we were before.

Getting rid of downed state would allow servers with larger numbers to just steam roll the smaller numbers and cause a imbalanced in WvW. Smaller number servers being outnumber in WvW rely on the downed states to revive team members quicker which keeps there numbers a little more reasonable.
The solution to your problem is get used to the F key to finish them off instead of whining about it. As I saw someoe else post “it is fine as it is”.

I have seen many posts about numbers and I have to say that everytime I have been on the enemy zergs have outnumber us 2 to 1 (or more). Yet us on SBI have manage to hold in there and push back like we have even or better numbers. So as for one of the comments I saw (not sure who it was) is that WM has always run larger zergs than that of the enemy is false. I am not part of WM but I have followed their commanders many of times and have seen the numbers complete opposite of what I have been reading here (2 to 1 against SBI).
As for the comment on that JQ and SoS double teaming and not attacking each other I have seen this before but I have also seen JQ attack SoS and vice versa, For the most part both attack SBI. The last time I saw this was about 3-4 days ago and every map except SoS and JQ BL was slit 50/50 by JQ and SoS. Their BL’s was owned by there own server and not being touched.
As for the person who posted the screenshot of EB being owned by SBI and JQ with SoS only having 3 objectives. If you are going to post a screenshot of something like post all four maps in one screen otherwise you are proving nothing. SoS could own 75%+ of the other maps for all we know.
I am not complaining about any of this but it does show where SBI belongs and that if we can handle being outnumbered or double teamed then we shuld be able to handle any of the tactics the other servers throw at us. It actually makes it more fun we we are being double teamed or outnumbered because when we win the batlle it gives us a true sense of accomplishment and that we have worked for we have earned.

If you killed someone at a certain location then they know your are there… if it was a zerg then they know your are there… if you have seige up at that location then they will be back… so what is the difference of a dead corpse over one dead corpse that say hey they are headed west then a zerg that is already respawned and watching you head west. If there is seige there then you would still be there defending it it so they can not say hey the seige is moving west. Basically I do not get the point of a instant respawn, maybe a limited time yes but not instant. They have to give the player time to get a rez or it would just make the strong stronger and the weak weaker. Just like the orbs which they removed do to similar complanits.
The reason I say strong stronger and weak weaker is because when one server outnumbers another server they must rely on reviving to keeps the numbers as close as possible. I have seen many towers and keeps taken using this tatic. I have seen many 30+ players zergs destroyed by half that number using the same tatic.
This cannot even be considered “OP” or anything like that when anyone can do it.

log out to another character then log back in with the character you want to run with it and it will fix it

lots of people have the issue of not being able to be in the ssame instance as their party and DC’s. This makes this event very disappointing and a waste of time for a lot of players. I can only get into instance by myself and I am in a party…. so this as of the current time is useless for me to even attempt act 3.

ALT+F4 is not a thing that can be fixed. It is part of windows and not the game. ANET would get in to large amounts of legal troubles with Microsoft for even touching it. ALT-F4 is designed as a intent to let a user exit a program that is not functioning if the OS itself is still functioning. How people use it is low but there is nothing that could be actually done as it would violate Microsoft’s Liscense that everyone agree’s to by using the software.

So, i'm hearing things about SBI/BG Alliance, is this true? What REALLY happened to JQ?

Silly rumor. No BG guilds were involved in that match at all, and had nothing to do with the turnaround.
What happened was War Machine and SBI’s other Oceanic/SEA guilds. They pushed hard, worked an overtime shift and flipped the map overnight late Wed/early Thurs and held it through the day until SBI’s primetime crew logged on. SBI was able to to hold the +PPT lead long enough to pull ahead on the score and JQ rolled over.
That was it. No shenanigans. Nothing. SBI wanted it and they got it.
I have to agree. Not only from what liquid said but major team work was involved if it was called out that everyone was needed in a certain location then that is what happened. All three server put up a good fight but SBI pulled ahead in the end just because of shear out maneuverability from what I saw when I was on and i was on for point swing.

I have to say this was a very intense week in WvWvW this week. Most of the week I logged in it was only a 2000 point difference between the three servers and many stalemates at battle lines. My hats off to all three servers for the excitment they provided. I mean look at how many times SM changed control alone, this is not including any other major chang overs such as maps, keeps, and towers.

more reason for matchup to be on a 48 hour reset
With a 48 hr. reset most player will never be ablt to get into WvW because of the current queue times.

Looking at score for the past 2 hrs. looks fun but I was also setting in the queue for those 2 hrs. (at a minimum) and finally gave it up for today.

I only have one thing to mention. That is yes you can buy all the siege you want. but with out supply you cannot build it. The only imbalance I see with supply is how hard it is to defend a supply camp from a force with equal or greater size attacking it. Defending something should be easier (but not to much easier) than attacking it. Some force defending should have the option to upgrade defenses. This is already possible in tower, keeps, and castles but to my knowledge it cannot be done at supply camps. Maybe the option to build items such as a Palisade.
For those that do not know what a Palisade is here is the defenition. A palisade – sometimes called a stakewall – is typically a fence or wall made from wooden stakes or tree trunks and used as a defensive structure. I know these are possible in the game for the time fram as I have seen some in PvE and very few in WvW (EB near Quentin Lake), and I have not seen any others.
