Mostly duoQing with Jeffarr, trying to get his main to top3 on the leaderboard, well somehow he made it, to rank 3. This highlight reel is half-serous and will contain some gameplay as well as some memes. I’d like to get feedback whether this is somehow something mildly entertaining and wheter the duration is bearable. In this particular vid i featured 3 builds. Marauder Marksmanship GS/LB , Marauder Nature Magic Staff/LB and Mender’s Marksmanship Staff/LB. Overally I’m really enjoying all the salt and memes in the new league system. If there are any unanswered questions, I’m happy to answer them. Also video features voices of HalfDevil, Crysis, D Dongs, Mango and Marvin. I also borrowed the outro to this from Sammpo.

oh no… srsly using tiger? Leap attacks are the easiest to dodge or just run away from. And good luck keeping that glassy tiger alive long enough for a second attack. But I see why you went for the vlun applied on its auto attack. Thats a good 3% added damage for the next…what…like 5 or 6 seconds?
You clearly don’t get the point. It is a bursting build, and you don’t really do anything besides LB1 for consistent dmg. You only use tiger for its F2 on petswap with quickness to easily land it hilt bash into MoCRM procs and guarantee a huge crit.

Of course I’ll only upload clips against top players so that you may get something out of the videos. Off we go with the first one, in which I do some good plays against two players from top 5 of the leaderbaord. To those wondering why I deleted my old channel, I had rought time irl so I delted all stuff regarded to guild wars, but now I’m back for good.

Could you guys PLEASE stop putting exclusive skins behind PvP. It is really onerous for us players that would prefer to not PvP. I don’t know how difficult it will be to acquire these new skins or if I’d even really want them, but I don’t want to go through the hell of earning The Ascension again. Please just let players who don’t want to PvP, not play PvP, without missing out on cool stuff.
Why is there no way to earn legendary in PvP? If youre a top tier player.
Ascended is absolutely USELESS for pvpers, but legendary are cool effects, why can’t a pvp player earn it for being one of the best?
It just does. Same kittenty matchmaking, just visible elo rating, same terrible leaderboard system, same terrible rewards ( i dont need ascended gear as pvp player, no way to get a legendary even if youre top tier), same terrible balance. Also competitive is dead. Not even gonna bother.

The passive from marksmanship is not blasting the smoke field from smokescale. Any other field in the game is getting blasted, but the smokescale F2 is not. It’s been like that since HoT came out and it’s a huge hit to utility when you actually consider the only offensive traitline left. Please, Grouch/ Lesh Prince take care of it finally.
Couldn’t finish the vid properly because my PC got stolen. I’ll be back for sure though for the new PvP season with guide and more highlight videos, so stay tuned. This vid shows some new cool stuff, although it’s just a raw iterration of a project that was further in development, unfortunately I only had access to this version and I still wanted to show something off since I didn’t upload for ages.
This is an example of superior twitch player being able to take a bad build and beat less skilled people which there are plenty of even at legendary level.
Watch my video #2. Somehow I was available to beat 3/5 players out of TCG (best team in the world atm) in a 1v1 and 2 players of oRNG(top4 eu). Also a lot of other top tier players/ from proleague.
It doesn’t take much time to figure out how to counter this build. There is still plenty of projectile hate in current meta builds. Either through reflects or just blocks.
Reflects/blocks are TOTALLY IRRELEVANT since you ALWAYS burst with quickness into cc(MoC proc), this build has nothing to do as sustained dmg.
First of all thank you Miaz very much for bringing this build) Was playing shatter mesmer and power rev, but now i’m stuck with power druid.
Really fun and insane lockout from this build coupled with burst make this build a pain in the kitten for almost everyone, especially necros in my 6 tier of diamond)You mentioned you have 20 min video and i’m here to ask how soon we will see it?)

Not correct, they officially stated there’s 4 seasons a year so the new one will start in a new year.

HoT specs were so overtuned they had to remove every single tanky amulet from PvP. And it’s still not enough. Of course more nerfs are justified.
I think what gives me the upper hand is that I’ve been playing variation of this build (GS/LB) basically since I started PvPing in GW so I’m used to animations and know how to time my skills right. My point of view, melee (GS) is stronger than LB, but you can’t go melee unless you have astral (to disengage safely). When using Longbow try to sit on unteleportable spots so revs/thiefs don’t bully you too much. And yeah it’s HoT PvP so counting dodges is important for dps builds since once you miss your skills you just get bullied out and have to run.
Also, I’ve made my 3rd montage, a few clips from last few days just for fun. A bit shorter this time, but that’s because I wanted to show something new, rather than being recurrent.what do you think about Taunt Vs Zephyr?
Wouldn’t ever give taunt up. It’s the best utility skill due to very short cd, gives you so many ways of outplay. And the only way you can handle thieves without Protective Ward. I’d play Zephyr besides taunt and signet, but only against comps without condi pressure.

And there’s not much you can do but blame your team? Have you ever been there? I’ve been there. Matter of fact, I know we’ve all been there. Every one of us have been there and matter of fact, everyone of was have done that in real life. Blame someone else for something we can’t take accountability for. But you know what? In rare instances, in this world we’re getting opportunity – to not do that anymore! But try as hard as we can, to teach us that if we can do it in a video game, we can do it in real life. We can almost do anything we choose too. And you know what? I was blessed to be in a group, with 4 other souls that had the same mentality and vision I had, at that moment, at that time, at that little universe of ours. #MYBOYKRALLYYY and I. We just, we knew we were down. But you know what? We still kept on fighting. And the three other guys were right behind us. They all did their role. To take this almost 300:50 match to something that is gonna be amazing at the end. Guys, I’m here to let you know that this season I’m having troubles. Everyone is having troubles. And your not alone. But you know what? Continue doing it, continue pushing it, because the minute you quit you’re a loser. It doesn’t matter if it takes 3000 games. Continue playing. Continue enjoying it. Continue doing that PvPness. Because that’s the only way you’re gonna achieve anything. And when you’re done you’re gonna have a little pebble next to your name. That says you did it. Just like you did in 5th grade when you got the little jolly ranchers and the little fishy gummy woomiestickers, remember those? That’s exactly what the pebble is. Will it make you rich in real life? No, it’s not. It doesn’t do anything for you. All it is is a little pebble next to your name that says “You’ve earned legendary”. Or diamond. Or whatever your skill level is. Wherever you wanna stop. But guys, this is the same mentality that we have in real life. The paycheck that we get to feed our families is also a little sticker. So if you come to this game, why not try? Why give up? Why blame your team? Why make the community saltier than what it is. There’s always gonna be a loser. Not everybody can be a winner. The only way to win is to win more than you lose. There is nobody in this community that is unbeatable. There is noone in this community that is godlike. There is noone in this community that chooses to be bad, unless they give up. Everybody in this game plays at a different level. Everybody in real life, the most unfair game in entertainment today is called real life. And you know what? You already learned that life isn’t fair. We’ve already learnt that some players in real life spawn OP. Why can’t we just accept this and in this community and just learn to have fun. Please. If you see me in your matches, give me 100%. Give me a good game. On my team or off my team. Give me a reason to log in every day and enjoy this game as much as I have. I wanna thank the souls in this match taht gave me the opportunity to have one of the best matches that I’ve ever had in Guild Wars 2. This is a 1v1 fight right here, we have the point. Steady Aim and Lead the Wind take away all the burst damage modifiers, and Longbow 1, GS 1 are terrible autoattacks under 7k DPS which is why i’d never take a sustained damage trait. Like, you don’t ever go over 600k dps done. You’re a burst class. That’s why you don’t care about reflects. Also, I can pull it off on my own, if your timing is right good playres won’t roll over you, in fact i have 1v1 vs some of the top players in EU on metabuilds in my vid. I’ll try to record a ranked game with a commentary to show how to use this build properly since people think it’s unsafe and try to go back to safer options for ranged. But that option is just not a good build since as you stated, you’re gonna just get reflected and even with that in HoT Longbow auto attack is a joke, even if it use to be good earlier.
You always have it up for your bust, since Tiger’s F2 fury is applied before the damage. And you have it for your Longbow+smoke quickness combo since you get it on petswap. You don’t need any more of it. Empowering autoattacks on Ranger is pointless.

In few days worth of grind I ended up making it to the top of European ladder, and I must say that the build is pretty strong. It plays way different than most builds, since unlike most meta builds it has horrible sustained damage. You are all about bursting and ccing, and forcing big cooldowns of youre enemies. The build is based on Marksmanship traitline which provieds a 95% damage increase modifier for you and your pet burst ability when set up correctly. The most important factor is to know which utilities to chose, against heavy condi comp you may use the renewal signet, but also lightnight reflexes which in my eyes is more interesting and fun around to play with. It helps kiting off the ranged condi classess well enough. Also you have choice between Rune of the Mesmer( more cc) or Vampirism ( more life force, better vs condi). I’d like to open people’s eyes that you can play any reasonable build, as long as you have practice on it – and do well. Even become the highest rated in your region. No way lead the wind is better. Tiger with the 95% modifier hits up to 8-9k. This build has TERRIBLE sustained damage already, so attack speed doesn’t help at all. And your GS-Tiger combo can take 80% of enemy’s health. Also improves LB-Smoke burst by roughly 2k.

You know, it’s been a long time since I did any PvP just because I hate how much rage and general kittenery goes on there…
But after watching this video, I feel almost inclined to try again. You play exactly the same way I do except I don’t use Druid. Bait the major skills and counter pressure when their cooldowns are ticking. I just figured that in high tier PvP players would be skilled enough to work around this kind of thing. Maybe I should give it another shot to see how high I can climb, though.
I feel Druid is mandatory, melee is your strongest burst and you can’t safely disengage without Celestial Avatar’s stealth. Also Druid’s Grandmaster is the only reason you can reliably win 1v1s vs most of the builds.
Also In my video #2 I play pretty much exclusively against Pro League players, It’s all about timing your skills. Takes a while of practice to learn the times of your animations.

Gw2 won’t ever have esports. The time where every competitive player started is when the game launched. We had 400 fully populated (20 ppl each) hotjoins on each of servers. (EU/NA). But Anet blew it. They didn’t support competitive at all until 1,5 years later when everyone left already. No one is coming back. No one is giving Esports another chance. Player base will never be there. Anet served themselves justice. What is happening now with the pro league is of course a joke to everyone from the inside and the outside. You don’t even have 4 competitive teams and you’re making an 8 team league. This is benny hill video game edition.
