All this hate on the zerg… I literally just started playing a week ago and the Queensdale zerg is the most fun I’ve ever had in an MMO… did y’all just come in here to feel good about yourselves? Or do you really hate the rest of us having fun? Sadists…

Makes new players progress slower and the game less appealing. I looked forward to leveling and getting a bit better. now I need to level 5 times to do it?

On the other hand, having only played for a week, I can’t say I’m out much time or effort. If they don’t give me back my traits, I sure as hell ain’t coming back though.

Hi, I have to express my displeasure with a few elements of the patch.

I just started playing a week ago, so my opinion might not be as much value as a longtime player, but nonetheless I feel compelled to share in hopes that you might listen.

First issue, I am perplexed as to why you guys decided to move traits to level 30. My main character just recently hit level 30, and let me tell you, before I got my traits at level 11, I couldn’t even kill things! Now I log on to my level 12 Elementalist and try to continue my story… yikes, RIP my 20 Vitality that was saving me from sure death every time I ran into 3 mobs.

Basically, why are you making the game slower for low levels? This game is years old, and I want to get to 80 as fast as possible to play with my friends and guildmates! I don’t want to come online and ask for a babysitter!

And transmutation stones, I had JUST purchased $10 worth to keep the Krytan armor you guys gave me as my PvE set until 80. I had 36 stones, good for replacing 6 sets (every 10 levels). Now I have 12. Oh, you gave me 5? How nice! Where’s my other 19?!

I’m really starting to regret buying this if these are the kinds of changes that are taking place with no regards to new players. Thanks.

I’m cheesed on the transmutations. I just bought the game (long time fan of the original GW) and I gotta say, this patch irks me.

I spent $10 real money to keep my Krytan armor that I got as a bonus as my PvE set until 80. I had 36 transmutation stones, allowing me to replace 6 SETS! What do I have now? 12… well 17… still.. just under 3 sets… can maybe go til 40 until I’m forced to spend more money! I spent that $10 because I wanted to keep my cosmetikittenil level 80… but no regard for the newb who isn’t thinking an immediate level 80 mindset when purchasing gems!

Thanks ANet, last time I throw away my money at you guys. This game should be ashamed to call itself “Guild Wars”. Absolute highway robbery.

Absolutely! I just started playing… and until I got my traits, I couldn’t even do my story quests! It’s kinda absurd… I get that’s it’s supposed to be a grind, but this game is years old and I kind of want to get to 80 ASAP to catch up to everyone already at 80 doing the 80 stuff and being at 80…

Good thing I only bought this half off… guess it’s not that much a waste if it turns to crap.
