this is a problem with every charr backpiece the halloween ones do the same, and because of that I previewed the quiver and noticed it did the same so didnt buy it I tend to have to hide the back piece on my char.

This is also hugely noticeable when holding a shield on my engi the shield just floats near my charrs arm and like someone mentioned we get gravity defying shoulders.

I like what awge said if you cant hit them swap weapons lol.

If it really is unique wouldn’t it be better to not be able to buy it twice in the first place and just have a pop up stating you already own the item and cannot purchase another.

I personally had no idea you couldnt equip two acended rings of the same name and also no idea about the wiki command neither of those things have ever been meantioned in game to me.

I noticed this ages ago and sent a bug report but its probs not a priority with all the new bugs added with every update to fix

I’m on level 4 and have the same problem I,be given up on fotm hate spending ages lfg

Totally agree I’m yet to find clothing my charrs hair doesnt stick through, The order of whispers light armor is hardly stealth like it makes the charrs head hugerer

I know what you mean about guilds, I was in one with maybe 20 members with 0 active so switched to one with 350+ members and 60 active 2 months on it has close to 400 members with maybe at peak times 10-15 members online and when I say online I mean standing in lions arch…

It also seems harder to find groups for anything other than speed runs.

I received a chest this morning when I logged in so I assume the fix is working and thank you to a net for doing that.

But from all the annoyance generated from the event itself and the fix implementation followed by a lack of communication I think its understandable for people to be getting worked up.

This thread has got responses whereas many others did not, could we not have been kept up to date on the process more frequently, and the one time event hasn’t gone down well due to people being unable to attend obviously whenever its on some people wont be able to attend but with a worldwide audience maybe consider running an event for 24 hrs so everyone at least has the opportunity to participate, maybe even mail the event rewards so you can participate multiple times but only receive one set of loot per account?

Must be hard for Gaile being bombarded with all this but your all the forum community has to speak to other than each other and we were hungry for info. Thank you Gaile for your patience and composed responses

To me it seems like most of the people who received a chest from the original event have received a second one in the mail, the way I found out this even happened was on these forums otherwise I was unaware anything was being done to compensate people for their wasted time and the cost of constantly dying due to server issues and a poor event overall.

I was gutted I didn’t get to loot the chest at the end of the final event due to spending hours on it :/ and when the amazing loot was aired even more so.

Hearing the solution mainly (seemingly from the forums) doubles the reward I didn’t get for anyone who was lucky enough to loot the chest and possibly rewards people not even at the event is a second slap in the face.

At the time I didn’t think to take a screenshot to prove I took part and only have the guff from the scavenger hunt. Hopefully I’ll receives something for my time, I’ve only logged in to check for the chest due to bugs with chat and party/guild prevent me playing with others currently (sent a ticket, its being worked on). So basically I’m waiting for a fix and to see if I get a chest… not very fun at the moment

I do appreciate the response on this thread but I feel it would have been better if it had been said more widely as well as earlier I feel we as a community are left in the dark quite a lot, the more we know the less we can speculate.

I spent as much of my weekend on the event as possible including 2.5hrs on the final event constantly watching around 50 people wipe to invisible crabs… I say as much cos at times the lag disconnects you. The events themselves were no fun and the only upside of the whole weekend was the amazing loot…. which I didnt get.

The solution to a horrible weekend give the people who did complete it double rewards hurrah! hell give people who wern’t even there the rewards.

Doesn’t everyone feel better now? a little warmer inside? o.O

So far I’ve had a bug with my story, bug with guilds, bug with chat, horrible lag in special events and crashes, and barely get any loot in game cos by the time I hear the drop rates great here it’s nerfed. Now people have maybe two items worth 2 years of playtime for me

Sent a ticket and was told there implementing fixes to try and resolve the issue and to watch out for updates

Been more noticeable for me over past 4 days but I think its been happening over a week now for me. Anyone know how to fix this.
No problem this afternoon but at 6gmt I can’t see guild roster again and I’m guessing all other problems too so I logged out

Currently I’ve been having the problem of my chat just stopping so I cant say anything or see any chat then all of a sudden it all just pops up, same thing with guild and partys

This makes it pretty much impossible to be in a party or communicate with my guild or see any of the roster. This just happened occasionally but tonight it’s been like this for two hours straight. I keep getting the error communicating with the login server, i can play the game but just in silence chat wise no groups guild or fun

Tried with and with out firewall same thing happens.

I noticed I got no kill credit even when i took maybe half a mobs health of before anyone else joined in I assumed they were unlootable no xp mobs, so for the second reinforcements part just auto attacked from the back and stopped caring.

Disappointing that some people had amazing weekends of loot and others get nothing.

The whole weekend has been a mess. I’ve attended every event, 1st one lag d/c and a scavenger hunt that wasn’t possible to do. 2nd was a lag flash in the pan blink n u miss it. The third well I spent 2 hrs on it but due to the constant death and huge time frame I had to leave, only to find people got loot worth a years gold… All i got was a huge repair and rez bill >_>

vanished on blacktide :/ so far I’ve been able to kill 0 of the mob and the quests I can follow are froze

We found out about this new armour and we also found out that it only helps in the new dungeon… specifically it combats the new agony condition.

Heaven forbid they keep releasing new content for people to work towards us players just love to grind for armour to just stop playing the game so non grinders can all gawk at us.

In this case people will only use these new items for this dungeon as regular runes dont work with them meaning they wont massively if at all overpower current gear

Recently joined a guild at halloween event but its not been active at all since and I’d really like some people to do story, de and dungeons with. As well as some WvW, currently I have a level 70 mesmer 25 thief and 25 engie and seem to be on the engie currently. I don’t mind what levels people are I dont mind hanging out with lower levels and helping complete things.

Im from the UK am male age 26 and can play at least 3-4 times a week in between work and the gf.

Im sure the duration used to be 12 seconds total for 3 illusions, maybe I imagined it…

When did the confusion get shortened from 4s to 1s? and why today with 3 illusions I only get 3s enough for one enemy attack still says it should last 4s per illusion in the description.

seems to be at least one challenge broken per area and lots of dynamic events are froze or just not there at all. This is on blacktide
