Hey folk i am NovaBle Leader of Tsunami ( if you remember us from the beta and the beginning of the game and the better half of Blu the ranger )
Just to add context I main ele and have played nearly 3k tournament (not hotjoin) games since the start, i have not played any PvE or WvW.
From the mention of GW2 being made i was exited especially when the esports aspect of the game was announced. Ever since then before and during the game i have put a lot of effort into…..
1. Setting up the biggest a sPvP Guild at launch (Who of which me and blu are the only ones left)
2. Spending over 1k hours in sPvP (long kittening time)
3. attempting to get a solid team of 5 since Tsunami stopped (nearly impossible task as every patch people leave because of anet)
and because of this……..
For the first time Since the game started i see no reason to log on tomorrow or even pick up the game again……
1. There is nothing to strive for, an invisible rating that for all we know is based primarily on rank and playtime. A solo que (which is fundamental to a competitive game succeeding) which does not work and pits you against premades.
2. A ranking system that bears no merits apart from armor that is far to easily achievable
3. A single map over and over again, with no plans for a random map que.
4. A whole hot join section of the game which should not be there and has no use in the currant PvP system.
5. The balance of the classes in of themselves and also within different maps (strength of Eles on the new map for example)
This game has potential but i am not willing to wait any longer for it.
So what i ask and beg of ANet is to say something to the community about what you are actually gonna do about this mess that is sPvP at the moment. You say you have the balance right about contacting the community and within the PvE forums yes you have. When it comes to PvP you don’t seem to care at all about it, all i have seen you guys do is shut down posts since this patch came out. Why haven’t you said anything, is it because you are kittenting yourself because you know you have messed up big time with false promises and the like.
So back to what i want from Anet to keep me in this game. Show us what you are doing none of this “its done when its done” kitten, it has gone way way beyond that stage now people need results. Explain yourself.
The idiotic transparency needs to stop. We need numbers and dates. People cannot hold their lives to chase a dream (esports) if one side is given no information and is suffering irl while the other side doesn’t give a kitten and sits fat and pretty with a nice paycheck.

I know for a fact a lot of good and top players are going to leave or have left and people will follow them.
