Are there any thoughts on possibly adding the option to use a Key-Chain device Authentication to log in with?

On a subscription MMO that I left in the past there was the feeling of: ‘We will just lock your account when it is compromised.’ instead of a ‘Lets add a feature to help make the accounts more secure.’. I realize that computer security is an illusion at all levels, that the only completely secure system is the one you never power up. However, it is up to a developer to decide how much to invest in defenses and what is an acceptable level of risk. For me the feeling I had about locking the account after it was compromised was lacking of a subscription game, or any game with a substantial price tag associated to it.

There are still many players who are searching for groups at level 1. I think for the first week there will be many players who simply havn’t had time to get into FotM too deeply due to the holidays. Then there is the other matter if I understood correctly that fractal level is determined by ‘Character’ not ‘Account’. So anyone with Alts will have to start at level 1 again.

I find it hillarious… I remember running FotM level 1 with two 80’s who did have mostly exotics, two freshly leveled 80’s mostly in rares, and a level 4 who clearly was better geared that all of us.

Sarcasm aside, the level 4 did not keep us from smoothly progressing. FotM is more about player awareness than gear at the early levels at the very least. It does help to use a voice program like Mumble or Vent, but gear should not be an issue, especially not early on. If you think it is, then likely, your doing something wrong.

As long as everyone is in the same Overflow you can do FotM with a cross server group. The concept is, Overflow is available to just about all servers and is a ‘common server’. There are more versions of the overflow than just one, I’m not going to guess how many Overflow maps there are, but it is definitely more than the one instance for each server.

I have grouped with my fiancee, her brother, myself (all on Tarnished coast) and we join two friends from Crystal Desert to do FotM. Have done a few now with them. We even did the World Event earlier with them on an overflow map.
