People need to stop crying, the dungeon is fine. My guild can clear this dungeon within 25-35 mins with no death.

well u are a funny man. a funny man indeed. i dont remember having a good laugh like this.

if your gear is all power, precision and crit go for vitality and toughness.

yeah i give u credit for effort, but your so called ’’guide’’ is flawed. very much flawed.

lets say a person decided to to CoE only. because all other skins are too ugly for that person. cos, hey why the heck not. and by your ’’pro’’ guide u need toughness and vitality. well guess what hotshot… there ISNT any gear in that place with those stats

i suggest u give up writing your ’’guides’’ because ure just wasting time for ppl who actually thing your ’’guide’’ will be helpful.

i didnt read every post from start but here is my opinion.
dungeons are very unbalanced. u have bosses which u cant normally kill (meaning the fight turns into ‘’run from closest waypoint back to boss’’ fest). that’s by far the worst tactic i have ever seen. then u have some really easy bosses which are basically stand in one place and burn it
then u have particle effects. i’m a thief and normally i go in boss fight with dual daggers. but u cant see anything around the boss. and no way i’m gonna play melee class with ranged weapons like dual pistols or god forbid shortbow. i can understand u need to use ranged weapons if boss has some sort of mechanic where u will simply turn into dusts if u persist with melee attacks like that boss in CoF story mode (has red circle around him and if u cross it u get burning). but turning an obvious melee class into ranged one is just plain stupid. and only because guys in melee cant execute their play style properly. and it always results in either death, wasted dodge or serious health loss.
why dont u add cast bars on bosses? it would be much easier to see when the boss is doing his attack. or maybe put a line in chat saying: <insert boss name> is preparing throw Rock of Doom.
trash is not trash at all. let me clarify a bit. my 1st dungeon was AC. a bit obvious. we got 2 ppl from guild (including myself) and rest we pugged. i died more times on trash then on the lovers boss. is that normal? i dont think so. in fact i know its not normal. do dungeons need to be challenging? yes of course. but turning them into bloodbath isnt my type of fun.
i can understand the game is still fresh and i respect that. but so far because of these issues i’m starting to dislike dungeons in a serious manner with consideration of totally abandoning them. and i dont want that to happen. i am enjoying this game very much and i cant recall the last time i had so much fun playing my class. not to mention i couldnt w8 to start playing guild wars 2.
so i beg u, please fix these issues. do something about it. i dont want to quit playing this game.

I’m not happy with this dungeon at all.
Yes, i was farming CoF prenerf and it was ok, but i got bored by doing the same thing all over again. So i deiced to give it a go with CoE cos of nice skins and to change the environment.
But CoE is just madness. Run takes over an hour with excruciating pain. We took frontal assault path which was strange since 1st time i did frontal assault i encountered alpha guy. But since one of the players, who completed all 3 paths said its the easiest one i decided i should give it another try.
I know we are supposed to farm dungeons for gear, but c’mon over 1h for 20 tokens. it will take forever to do it. And the alpha boss damage… it is just ridiculous. The fight turns into ‘’run back to the boss’’ fest. Very disappointed. Waste of my time and i dont think i will be doing this dungeon unless something changes.

I’m not sure if these are actually bugs but here we go.

After escorting the npc we picked the frontal assault path. It was all ok until we came to the boss fight which happens in a big room. I cant remember the boss name but it is some kind of risen/frankenstein creature. His abilities were big aoe attacks with frontal underground cone spike attack. He was also doing the stomping/close range aoe attack as well. The damage of the boss was really excessive as well as the radius of the attacks. For e.g. it takes 2 dodge moves to evade the aoe, and even that cant save u from being one-shot. After some time while i was running back to the fight i noticed the that the boss stopped moving. In fact he wasn’t doing anything at all. We basically burned him where he stood. Some adds spawned while we were doing that but they either disappeared or my party members finished them off.

After some time we encountered this boss again. He was placed in a room with pillars. His abilities where the same, but this time he was spawning small versions of torment claws. Being in that tight space it was impossible to survive to due to excessive damage and ridiculous range of his aoe attacks, same issues we faced the 1st time we encountered him.

Is this a bugged fight and should these things happen as they were normal game mechanics? From my point of view i would say that this fight would require some kind of tweaking (mainly in either boss aoe range or damage output)

Also i would point out that we only got one chest from a kite/survival encounter which is just before the second encounter of aoe boss.
