Hi all,
My computer on paper should be able to run GW2 no problem, but I can not seem to get any sort of decent FPS.
Here are my specs:
MSI 990FXA-GD65 AMD 990FX Socket AM3+ Motherboard
AMD FX-8120 X8 3100MHZ 16MB 125W AM
Patriot Gamer 2 4GB DDR3 PC10666 (x2)
NVidia GeForce GTX 560
I run my OS on an SSD, and have the game installed on a separate 1TB SATA3 disk drive.
Currently with the game set to the default “Performance Settings” aka just about everything on low, I am getting about 20 FPS.
I understand my PC will not blow anyone away, but I believe I should be able to get at least decent FPS with the graphics set to their lowest level.
Any suggestions on where to go from here? The game at this point is only borderline playable for me.

3 and a half days now and I’m starting to get angry. How can you incorrectly ban people and not make ANY comments about it? I read people getting back in after 6 or 12 or 24 hours and I’m at over 80 without a change in my ticket 121113-001461
Get your stuff together and sort this out.
I’ve had a ticket open since Monday with no response. What a horrible company ArenaNet is turning out to be.

How can this company expect patience from anyone? I was banned for no reason two days ago, and have not been contacted at all by anyone about this issue. They refuse to do a press release, because I supposed they’re embarrassed. All I can do is sit here in this thread and complain, while I am unable to access the game I paid $60 for. This is beyond ridiculous.
Is there any chance someone will simply refund my money, and I can go on my way without having to deal with this company any more? At this point that would be my preferred way to see this situation resolved.
Can I at least get a private message from an admin of some sort, or an OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT of some sort admitting there is a problem?
Are you just going to treat us like garbage, and pretend that there is nothing wrong and punish us?
Even if it is going to take a while to fix your mistakes, you could at LEAST own up to them in the meantime.

I’m still waiting. I just called the NCSoft number and yelled at some poor guy named Chris.
He couldn’t do anything apparently, unless it was about fraudulent charges.
This is obnoxious ArenaNet. Get your crap together. Fix your problem. Show your customers a little bit of respect.

At this point AN has officially earned itself a spot on the list of horrible companies I have dealt with. I understand issues will occur, but any decent company would at least reply to their customer or make an announcement.
I wonder if they think people will actually buy another copy of their game?

because i see there are some people waiting for 2-4 days for response and some are under 24hrs.
is it " account issue – other " on “ask a question” tab ?

That should not be your problem. ArenaNet should be combing all their reports, and unbanning people constantly. Both of those categories should be sufficient.

It’s been over 12 hours for me. Come on now. This is ridiculous. It must suck to be on day 2 or 3 of your unearned ban.
I’m glad I haven’t spent any money in your gem store, and I wish I hadn’t let my money sit in your accounts collecting interest while I waited for the game to come out.

Thanks Anet. I would like to be enjoying my holiday playing the game I paid for, but am currently banned for no reason. I was running along with a zerg, and was banned randomly, and permanently for “Botting”.
