It has been over 24 hours since I made the purchase and still have not received the upgrade or any kind of notification the transaction took place. I don’t know if it is eventually going to go through or if it failed or what. If I knew it failed I would try to purchase it again but I don’t want an additional $50 charge on my credit card. I am just in limbo. I purchase some gems the night before on the same credit card and I received the gems and an in game as well as an email confirmation.
I purchased the Heart of Thorns expansion from the Black Lion vendor, and while the purchase took my credit card and said the transaction was successful, I never received any email, in game mail or any other kind of confirmation. This package is already overpriced at $50, but for it then to not even give me my purchase in infuriating.

J envy, this has been going on ever since the Wintersday patch. I never really had a problem before then. I have spoken with a lot of people online from different servers having the same issue. Once in a while, I will be able to play for 2 or 3 hours without a problem but trouble free play has been rare for the last couple of weeks.
abomally, I will try your suggestion and disable background programs. I am about ready to try anything. I had 14 crashes and disconnects yesterday all told.
I have been going through the same thing. Yesterday I had 14 disconnects and crashes. I don’t expect today will be any better as I have been experiencing this problem ever since the Wintersday patch.

I have a constant stream of disconnects and game crashes ever since the Wintersday patch was put in place. I play only PVE and World boss or daily events are near impossible to complete due to crashes and disconnects. I have way over a year and 10 level 80 characters invested in this game and all of a sudden I am wasting my time when I log in.
