Your comments here are almost as distasteful as your actions. It’s one thing to destroy a community event, but gloating on the forums about it is just childish.
There is a bug where the sylvari glow does not show in the makeover screen, but after the makeover is done your character will have the glow settings you’ve selected. I’m not sure whether this has been acknowledged by a rep. I have seen other players discuss it in a thread somewhere on these forums.
