I just wanted to make this thread in appreciation for one of the best (in my opinion) written characters in the game. Don’t want to spoil anything but I will say this: If you want humour, go with the Priory.
“It’ll be cherry!”
The medium “invader’s” armour from WvWvW (Can’t remember the name) is short and has a bit hanging under the belt that moves around the tail (one of the few armour pieces to do so.)
Ofeigr, my lvl 30 charr engineer. I think I found the few bits of medium armour I like together… Transmogrification Ho!

Tool kit. Nothing beats smashing people over the head with a wrench… Just ask Ratchet.
Just play what you enjoy, I run around with the Tool Kit, for example. It’s not recommended, powerful or anything, but it’s fun to do.
If you’re not enjoying yourself playing a game, you’re doing it wrong.
My charr is a pragmatic, intelligent but aloof character. He does whatever job he has in front of him, and does it well.
However he dislikes interaction with other people, be they charr or otherwise, and prefers to be alone tinkering or studying tomes.
He also dislikes the limelight, preferring to help others achieve greatness, instead of doing so himself, though with the story of GW2 it’s rather difficult as you ARE the hero, but I make do. Most uncharr-ish I know but going against the mold makes every story that much more interesting.
Because Steve Blum.
Also, why would I want to be a pretentious short avatar, a plant or a supermodel?
The Norn are a close second, but the militaristic lifestyle of the Charr won out. You are useful, or you are wasted space.
The one thing this thread has taught me is that I should’ve gone with the monicle instead of the backpack.
Silly me for not knowing about being able to swap the looks of an item :< at least i’m one of the few people with a back slot item!
