The people joking about getting CD into T4 were mostly from TC, actually – I recognize most of the names. Not the most appropriate joke, but a joke nonetheless. I was the person who made the Exterminate Crystal Desert guild.

We can all agree that the jumping puzzles probably shouldn’t exist in WvW, though. People kitten and whine about people camping it for badges, but really the fact remains WvW is rarely so sleepy as to warrant PvE/nviroment.

The honest answer is that it has been easier to take stuff from Crystal Desert on their home borderlands than it has been to take stuff from Yaks Bend. Yaks tend to fight harder and have more players on for a longer period of time. In a war of any kind it makes sense to take from the weakest enemy first before you move on to the stronger ones. Especially when the goal of the game is to make the most points in order to win.

But CD already knows this because they use our down time to their advantage to roll across our map when we don’t have a lot of players on. That doesn’t really bother us too much because we know that later on during our prime time we will take it all back and then take your stuff too.

Just seems like playing for 2nd place to me.

I don’t think TC players would be trolling around as such if we were in danger of playing for second.

Could have been a sneaky mesmer you didn’t clear out. Then again, it isn’t the first time that PINK and questionable mesmer activity have been linked.

Please don’t bring up things that were already explained. Even if it’s not your intent, it will do nothing but stir up drama.

I’m one of PiNK’s officers and if you ever have /proof/ of one of our players performing a serious exploit – please let me or another one of our officers know. I would love nothing more then to bring the axe down (or the gkick, as it were) and get their account blacklisted from our alliance.

The mesmer in this particular incident happens to be very, very patient.

Don’t believe me? Fine. My guess is that it’s an exploit. If I’m right, then it’s only a matter of time before everyone knows about it. I’m just so angry that it happened, I had to find out if anyone has seen or heard of this. I literally watched it happen.

I’m not saying it didn’t happen. I believe you saw exactly what you saw, but posting very general accusations doesn’t accomplish anything but dragging a guild’s name through the dirt.

On the inverse, what Honnor did isn’t much better. I’ve never heard of that guy as a commander, and I very, /very/ sincerely doubt he’s representing any of the alliances that I know exist on TC. There’s simply more tactful ways to go about this kind of thing.

I think we can all agree this matchup is 100x better without e-drama.

TL;DR: If you see a hacker or you get serious abuse from a player, please get proof, do some research, then take it to their guild leader. Please don’t start public shaming unless you get sneered off or there’s a repeat offence.

That sounds highly unlike MOON, do you guys have any screenshots/evidence that they just didn’t beat down the wall or something and somehow manage a bomb?

Please bear in mind many of TC’s guilds have a large pug population as well – not every guild can account for every member. If you do have proof someone is glitching, you should make it a priority to get their account name so we can deal out our own justice.

We’ve only ever had one out-of-server guy in Principality (Jadon’s PiNK), and he got the boot pretty quickly.

Fug, the arguments you’re presenting are ridiculous. Simple fact of the matter is TC is weak when CD is strong, and vice-versa. When our servers overlap, there’s a lot of potential fun to be had … but the little guys have never, ever won in a mobile war sitting around with their thumb up their kitten

You’re complaining about not having fun because of tactics when your real issue is you’re not having fun because we’re primarily NA, and you’re primarily oceanic.

Fellow TCer here. With no offense meant to CD, I’m dreading next week – our servers don’t really sync all that often and it’s just been give and take. When we actually get real fights it’s been fun. Great if you want karma, though, lol. When is Yak’s usually active?

You’re not really stating it ‘how it is’ or telling the truth … you’re stating your completely biased opinion and acting as though its Anet gospel. Any evidence you have is anecdotal. If I had 1g for every time someone from FA or DB said “if only we had more numbers, we’d CRUSH these guys”, I’d have Twilight by now.

Though right now I’m kind of depressed with the mix-n-match nature of the class, it just feels like there’s three or four viable combinations total.

A glimmer of hope is YOUR server’s responsibility. If you quit because you’re getting stomped – that’s that. You won’t have any hope. Please don’t insist that we have to not play in order to enjoy the game. TC is where it is (and capable of doing stuff like this) because it has a solid foundation of incredibly stubborn, personable people, not because we nightcapped on Friday.

Rather then complain and point fingers, your server should be looking at better organization and communication between guilds.

One thing you really need to understand about TC – we don’t really have a great ‘offpeak crew’, we just have a kittenon of people willing to stay up into the wee hours of the morning. I clocked around 14~ish hours just now and I’m about to go pass out. Kudos to everyone playing on the Blackgate BL tonight!
