Those that question my “tone”, ability and temper really do miss the point:

I have PAID for this product. They want my money, I want a good product and if it’s not to my satisfaction , I have every right to complain in any which way until they fix it.

Not being able to complete an integral part of the game – within a reasonable amount of time – is like buying a car without an assembled engine. If you’re a car mechanic, fine, but not everyone is.

I have nothing against not everyone being able to complete every aspect of the game but not in the main parts such as World Exploration or My Story. These have to be simple enough for everyone to complete within a reasonable amount of time and this is where the developers have failed, miserably.

Jumping puzzles should not be in any of these. Make a “Jumping Puzzle Medal” for those that enjoy those and want something to show for it, but make it optional!

PS. Why are there no skill challenges in the game that require any degree of intelligence, inventiveness or exercise of logical thinking…

“I’ve spent two hours at the start of the mission trying to get past the initial puzzle. I don’t find that fun; I find that to be absolutely infuriating. "

Couldn’t agree more. I’ve got two chars stuck there, mesmer and elementalist. Not even using the elementalist’s “stability” special skill gets you across. Look here, developers – if I want that kind of c**p, all I have to do is go to work and insult the boss. This is a game, repeat GAME! It’s supposed to be fun, a word I doubt you are familiar with. Spending hours spread over several days and still not being able to complete it is NOT fun. And I can’t go back and choose another order to join.

Game ruined, thank you very much.

Then again, you’ll just ignore this as you ignore every other indication that GW2 is nowhere near as good as you like to think. It could be, but the worst problem is your attitude towards the players, your paying customers.
