it has nothing to do with apps.. if they detect a bot, the account goes to the “quarantine” server automatically. if the person using the bot is stupid enough to do so, thats their loss. It beats a complete ban and will allow them to argue their case with Anet if they were moved wrongfully.

Further, even if they try to get around it by grouping with “non-banned” players.. those players will be forced to the quarantine until the banned player leaves the group. They will then be transfered back to the general pop. This will give people the incentive to not group with cheaters.

I dont know anything about Overwulf but that app isnt Anets problem.

I found this on my facebook and thought it might be worth a look for the developers – re: dealing with cheaters and bots.

Its an article from PC Gamer about how Titanfall is dealing with cheaters. I think something could be learned from this.

I think its a great idea… levels the playing field and keeps the cheats to themselves.. let them fight it out against other cheaters! Let them do themselves in while they leave the rest of us alone.

I would really really appreciate it (read: I BEG YOU, devs) if you guys could put a confirmation to enter the mad king areas on the gates. I have countless times “fallen” into them from hitting the wrong keys. Its gotten beyond annoying and to make matters worse, you guys dont port us back to where we were when we entered and it costs us more to get back there!

Im looking for a new guild. The one Im currently in has fallen away over time and Im finding I need to find a new trail to blaze.

About me:
Game name: Busta Headertu
World/Server: Eradon Terrace
History: Completed all of GW1 with expansions.
Characters: I have 8 – one of each class. Highest level is my guardian – level 80. Only thing he hasnt done is the final battle with Zhaitan (because I cant find anyone to run with). All other characters are level 20+.
PvE vs PvP vs WwW: Primarily I am a PvE player, but Im not closed minded to the rest.

I am an older player, and Im seeking a mature guild (more in attitude, less in age) to game with. I want to find a sensible guild that I can play with that can have fun but isnt bogged down with strict rules.

I dont care to play with elitists as they do more to hurt the game than help it.

Im willing to help out where needed. I am a team player. If someone needs crafting done, I have consumables and jewelery maxed out and Im working on the other crafts.

I would like to find a guild that is established. I have nothing against the newest guilds except that they tend to be “fly by night”. I want to be in a guild that is permanent and stable.

At this point, I would perfer to stay in ET, but if it becomes a necessity, Im willing to entertain the thought of relocation.

If you think your guild fits the bill, I would be more than happy to respond to a mail or whisper.

never mind.. I guess i was like 1 kill off getting it.. skill was full just not enabled completely.

Im working on my Elementalist, getting skills unlocked. For some reason, Meteor Shower refuses to go off. I click and double click it to get it to fire, but nothing happens. No blast radius, nothing?

Im a level 61, my party members are <= level 10. I was trying to join them to take down Two Blades Pete to help them level up.. the other members are in the instance and not having issues, but my client hangs on load for entering the same instance. Am I too high level? or is it just a bug.. I dont think its supposed to hang.. :P

I kinda think it might still be a connection issue.
