I’m very glad that Mike has shown his cards on the fight against botting. I am sure the code to detect them will become more robust over time, eventually locking out most of the market. Currently there are a few types of bots I wanted to highlight as they might not have been detected in recent sweeps.

1. Teleporting bots: These are hard to report as they move so quickly, either killing mobs on a path or going for harvesting nodes.

2. Underwater bots: These hide from sight and are probably more difficult to detect. They are very often coded with the teleporting as swimming takes a lot of time.

3. Regular Pathing Bots: The same few bots are running paths in Southsun Cove hunting Skelk for Powerful Bloods. Just a very small loop.

Southsun seems to be a hotspot, the powerful bloods and armored scales are being heavily botted every time I go to check their locations. Can something be done to investigate these types of bots? I believe they are currently some of the most influential on the normal balance of the game’s economy.

All of my major interface keys are delayed or work a percentage of the time. This has caused a lot of time and money lost in a game I play often. If Anet can’t hire enough people to spread the workload out in order to output a quality product, I see no reason to purchase your products in the future. There seems to be no quality control by testing a patch or update.
