I dont know anything of computers. Just wanted to know if this was normal, It goes from 20% to 85% while im on gw2. No other programs are open. except skype right now.

In game I’ve been going from 60-25fps. which is quite annoying, I used to always sit at 45-60.

This is my computer specs :

-AMD FX™-4100 Quad-Core Processor 3.60 GHz
-8.00GB Ram
-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti

learn your class before complaining

warrior is like theif, their mostly ment to roam, pop outta nowhere make you disapear, go back to roaming and about 1v1’s.. 1v1 doesnt mean everything, but warriors can 1v1 pretty kitten well.. only class I have problems with are good ele’s( obviously ). If you think you got bad survivability, learn to to dodge/block/endurepain whats important, and don’t stand in aoe’s in teamfights, thats why your better to roam, but you can teamfight well you just need a good team to protect you with their spells/utilities.

- Just noticed you talked about wvw. wvw you need totally different builds out of the ordinary. Horn is amazing wvw, but than again, where are you going ?

If you think war is bad at 1v1, just change class, maybe this one just isn’t your playstyle or ment for you. I 1v1 very often, at least 1 hour a day, sometimes more, and I almost never lose vs any class.

people complain games are too easy, but when something takes time and grinding to earn, they cry. if earning titles/gear/qualifying points/acheivs isnt enough to make you want to continue playing a game, then your just not a real gamer, go play barbie

How do I do that ? I have 65% cpu usage out of nowhere all day today !

Hi all, I’m wondering if I have a virus of some sort im not sure, I did some virus scans and it shows no problems, but I know my computer.

Usual in gw2 I hang around 60-55 fps, doesnt move much from there, but since yesterday I’ve been sitting at 60 and then instantly dropping to 30 or sometimes 25 fps, which is quite annoying when im used to having a constant 60fps.

This isn’t just in game also, it feels like my computer gets these moments of slowness aswell, which again, is not normal.

Note : Dunno if this has to do with anything, but I was doing a personality quiz online, had to download something for the results, I thought was some kind of scam but I dl it anyway, and web pages kept opening constantly -.- so I did ctrl + altr + del, and closed it than went in programs features and uninstalled it.

I don’t know much about computers to be honest, this is why I need your help.

LF spvp guild, serious about spvp and tpvp, all i do is pvp in games, i got a big backround and alot fo experience.

Im sort of new to gw, but im far from noob, i dont sit on capture points when someone else is on it just to try and be first place on my team, I always secure every objective asap, i can duel very well, i win 1v1’s 9 times outta 10 if not more, no class bothers me, even theif/mesmers…. i actually study all classes to try and perfect mine. I always look at the mini map and timers.

Im a teamplayer, I dont play for points I play to win. PST

P.S : im on jade quarry right now, i dont mind changing servers

or is being a ranged warrior simply more viable since your not in melee range and if u pull aggro from tank than you insta die ? :/

in pvp im fine, i do 30-25-0-0-15 i run GS/axe/mace or axe/axe and i have no problems, i can deal with almost any situation.

But im new to pve and im kind of lost. Feels like being a melee glass cannon isnt very effective i tend to die too often to my liking in dungeons.

So i would rather not play like a theif, as a warrior i feel i should do decent dps, while being decently tanky, not as tanky as a full tankspec war/guardian.

Any tips or build suggestions ?

Also would it be better to spec full DPS like 30-25-0-0-10 and buy power/ttoughness gear ?

Or spec like 20-20-15-0-15 and buy power/precision gear ?

ok you were right, i did manor twice and AC with 5 people and it really was a big difference and pretty easy, no one died really.

also im wondering if I should simply main a ranged weapon on my warrior ? im using GS and rifle but it seems ranged weapons are better for so many fights, especially in AC

i understand what your saying but, im melee, and if theirs 5+ other melee’s i mean, i cant really not die -.-. but i understand what your sayign

watched a couple vids on youtube and i never see their tanks going under 99% health, how is this ? o.O our tank is tanky but i mean he takes damage after awhile

Just hit level 40 with 2 of my friends we decided to do Caduceus’s Manor and killed first boss, once we killed the 3 minions in the basement we just couldn’t get passed the 10+ guards -.- in a cave.
I know its ment to be 5 manned but still, is it suppose to be this hard ?

I’ve played all types of pvp games for over 10 years such as shooters/mmo’s/RTS
I always play a game till I master it and try to reach my highest level
I can achieve.

Now I have an extremely bad pov about this game and I wish to find some way to change it to allow me to continue playing it.. because it seems fun.

I made a necromancer to level 46, started doing SPVP yesterday… i’ve tried multiple suggested builds to get accustomed to the pvp and try out different styles.

I’ve read every skill, figured out which skills are best used in which order/situational, got used to dodging certain classes and such. And yes I know practicing and learning about other classes and all that will get me better, I know how to get good at a game, im not a faceroller but the point of this thread is :

I seriously feel like this game is insanely imbalanced..

-feels like all that matters is being outnumbered, seems like all people do is 4 or 5man the whole map and u either get 4v3 and die, or you 4v3 and win.

-Fighting a mesmer is very skilled I find, I made one and understood their skills and if you can get used to the mirror images and fake clones and when they burst it feels like a very skilled fight

Theif on the other hand just seem insanely overpowered, like unrealistically op. even if I kite and use EVERY defensive skill I have with a full deathshroud, what seems to be half decent facerollers tend to just burst every2seconds or disapear and comeback 2 seconds later when all my stuff are on cooldown and than I die in 2 seconds..

-I seem to have a crazy problem vs rangers aswell

It just seems like burst is op. and when I tried a power/burst build on my necro.. it just felt super weak, tried multiple condition builds, feels fun but it just feels no where near as effective as any half decent player of any other class.

This is not meant to be a QQ thread I would really like to keep playing this game and trying to get better at it but it just seems really imbalanced to me, this is why I am posting this thread. For help/tips/suggestions/awnsers
