The stat boost, while controversial, is there to give the buff meaning in the context of the general WvW battle. Providing boosts like %WXP, etc. don’t have impact in fights against other sides, they are just a nice bonus for you. The stat boost and the points for finishing players mean that not only do you want to have the buff, but you don’t want your opponents to have it.
If it wasnt obvious already you made sure now that you do not play WvW, or have any idea what is good for it.
Unless you ofcourse promote and LOVE stronger (read, larger numbererd) servers getting even stronger. Then good job with that.

This wont just destroy GvG but the entire WvW as well. People thinking that they added stuff for small groups are being naive.
You have to keep these points for 2 solid minutes, more then enough time for any zerg to move to your location, chances are the zerg will be roaming somewhere in the middle anyways because you can secure and protect the points, and also move to one of the 3 keeps with relative ease.
And for those saying that you can cap there towers/keeps while they are grabbing the points, good luck trying to get into a keep within a minute with a roaming zerg while you got 5 people next to you.
Is there not one guy in the entire WvW office who thought that this would be a bad idea, not just for the mostly ignored GvG, but for the entire WvW that will only result to more blobbing and zerging after this patch?

Bring in the siege controlled by AI, people are rubbish anyways.
Its funny that people are still saying that people are complaining because there karma/Wxp train stopped.
None of the guilds that are posting here care a single kitten about karma, its useless, most of us got hundreds of thousands karma that we wont use. And the only ones caring about Wxp are the people on arrow carts so they can get more ranks into arrow cart mastery.
Not to mention, Wxp is faster to get in open field fight rather then flipping a tower/keep. Alot more fun too.
So wait, with siege actually having some kind of meaning, it forces huge groups to break apart, hit in multiple locations, and look for tactical ways to take a fortified structure? Well now, that’s just silly. Why can’t we just get groups of 70 people to beat a door down with limited repercussions? Sorry, I don’t mind the arrow cart changes, as a matter of fact I think all siege should have this kind of impact. Forcing players to think outside the box and adapt is what a great game does. So will players need to intelligently prepare a siege strategy now, sure, but it beats the heck out of a mindless zerg ball bashing 1 to capture a point. The good commanders will adapt to the change and come up with the techniques that work, the zerg commanders will fail now, and fail hard.
How does it make a zerg split up? When it takes LESS people to defend than it does to attack how do you really think smaller groups will be able to cap anything? I mean really…
Send 100 people to one door or send 25 to 4 different breakable locations. Or split forces to hit several different locations. Set a diversion up with 25 while the rest hit another keep. Use tactical approaches and break out of the zerg mindset.
Now this will happen (and already has happend). You go for lets say hills, you got 80 people under your command. 20 North door, 20 South door (taking your plan as example) and 10 for the ’’ninja’’ on the walls. now you have 30 people that can be spread here too or spread around the map.
What will the defense do now?
3 people on AC on N gate, 3 more on AC on the S gate, and another person on the walls, thats just 7(!) people for defending against 50-80 people, what is the rest of there numbers doing? Roaming the map taking your kitten or defending something else cause they only need a handfull of people to keep 50 people busy.

No need to defend anymore, because no one will bother attacking you anymore either. Problem?
Use trebs for countering ACs —> get counter trebbed. Good chance most keeps/towers will have 2 or more trebs in it for defense from now on, so they can treb you before you can really do anything. Especially since swirling got removed.
Now i know for a fact that no one from Arena-net actively plays WvW.
Still hoping for the AC buff to be a major joke or something

But what is stupid is that your already steering away from things you have said several times in the past. And how long have we been here? What more can we expect to change? Right now you have lost the trust of quite a few customers, why bother posting stuff you wont even stick to?
